About MST3K:TF
Just what is MST3K: TF?
Hi, I'm Tom Servo! You may remember me from such films as Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie and Servo Takes Manhattan.
Mystery Science Theater 3000: Transformers is just another in a long series of experiments conducted over the years by the not-very-nice Forrester clan. You see, Mrs. Pearl Forrester wants to endear herself to the public by making toy commercials cleverly disguised as children's cartoons, featuring herself and her equally-not-very-nice henchmen, Bobo and the Brain Guy. If she can sell herself to the masses, she'll be able to take over the world! Or something like that. I wasn't really paying attention.
Anyhoo, to study the effects of these mind-warping hunks of animation on the general public, she's trapped the big, doughy Mike Nelson on the Satellite of Love, where she forces him to watch one of the most shameless toy commercial shows of all time, Transformers! (These guys give robots like me a bad name.) Of course, the poor dope wouldn't stand a chance without his highly sophisticated robot buddy, me! Oh, and there's also Crow, who can barely walk and chew gum at the same time.
Our only hope of surviving the onslaught is to add our own witty remarks to each episode. By cracking wise about the horrible plots, craftless animation, and shameless marketing ploys, we save our souls from the terrible beast that is corporate commecialism and pass the savings on to you!
