The Marabouts have two kinds of inside black and white art : on the first pages and on the last pages. All these drawings were made by P. Joubert

First pages
The first pages usually have a drawing of Doc Savage, of varying size (3 versions).

Later Doc

Early editions also sometimes had original art, related the story (dinosaurs for Le pays de l'épouvante, pinhead monsters for Les monstres).

Last pages
The last pages present Doc's aides. The format of these pages has evolved through time (4 versions).
