On the third day we wanted to explore a little of the Californian country side through one of our favorite activities, hiking. The landscape is way different than New York. We mostly looked at hills of short grass and dirt. *s* It was a fun 6 mile hike with my hubby and we saw road runners, rabbits and even a vulture! I got a good shot of the vulture below. At the end of the hike we got to see the sea, which was beautiful. :)

This is the vulture we saw. It took great sneakiness to get this close and then he was about to fly and I snapped the shot...I think it is a cool picture. *s*
