Prologue

Present Day

"We gat a package for ya, boss," a nameless henchman reported upon entering
Carmen's office. "We had it X-rayed. There's only a small object.

Carmen took the small box slowly and opened it.

A small piece of cloth fell out. Carmen froze.

The scrap was about two inches by two inches. It was black with silver
pinstripes. Suddenly, Carmen snatched it up and opened a desk drawer, pulling
out an old, faded piece of material. She compared them. They were exactly
alike.
