If you're like us and have no need of "Cookies".
For Netscape Navigator (versions 1 - 5) mark your COOKIES.TXT file as Read-only...
Windows 95 or later, in Windows Explorer go to the Netscape\Navigator
directory, often located in :\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator,
find COOKIES.TXT (to delete all current cookies, open file, Edit|Select All, Edit|Delete then File|Save) right click, click Properties find Attributes:
and click the Read-only box, click OK.
You may also wish to do this with your NETSCAPE.HST file.
Take a look at this file,
you may be surprised to find some passwords and other personal
information as well as website addresses you've visited and even
link addresses of images or files you may have downloaded.
Internet Explorer 5 users: Tool|Internet Options... on the Security tab
click the Cutom Level... button. In the Cookies section mark Disable, click
OK.
