Where did Skroce go? Why am I never told of these things? Why do all the good ones go? Well, actually, I didn't like Skroce, but you know what I mean! Well... Okay, "Identity Crisis" is looking to be good, or so I've gathered from this issue. The new costumes better be better than that sweatshirt! Well, there's not mutch I can say. The plot was good, the art was good, Mr. Hyde was an idiot, "The Long Farewell" gets ***1/2.
Oh yes! Ricochet is here! True, he is not as cool as Dusk, but he is still my second favorite. But, to tell you the truth, I am getting SICK of this lost baby storyline. JUST GIVE IT BACK!!!! Oh, I got carried away! Anyway, I can't wait for Spide... um Ricochet to whup Black Tarantula's but.(I seriously do NOT like that guy, but he's an exellent villan!) Well, to sum up, I liked the story. The art was good. There were two (not one, TWO) covers!! "'Round and 'Round With Ricochet" will recieve from me ****. I like this comic!
I didn't think it could be done. All 4 Spidey identities in the same comic, fighting the same bad guys, at the SAME TIME! Oh, yes, I love it. Though, to my dissapointment, Black Tarantula didn't get his much dierved but-whupping. Aw well, next ish I guess. But wait, is that Blackie's origin on page 7? Naw, too easy. Or is it... It looks as if Kane is back too. Allrighty, I'll give "Fun 'N Games With the Four Star Squad" ***1/2.
I'll miss you Ricochet! *sniff* Ah well, it's back to clasic Spidey! Jake Conver is the new Rose! Sorry for spoiling it for you people that didn't read, but that's the way it is. I shoulda saw that from a mile away! He was one of my guesses, but I thought him to be Jack 'o Lantern. I shoulda refered to #-1 for clues (which are now so obious). The Black Tarantula's ID, also revealed, isn't that big a deal. Carlos LaMuerto? Who cares? Anyways, I'll give "In Final Battle With the Black Tarantula" ***.
Spidey turned into a horrible monstorus monster! AHHHHH! Haven't they done this about a thousand times already? Oh well, one more can't hurt (I guess...). At least I finnaly know what Synch's powers are (I don't read Gen X). This Plantman guy is (`scuse the french) a total faggot! What a geek! Sheesh, whoever invented that waste of ink should be tied down and tickled a lot (killing is a bit far). Despite my complaining, I kinda liked this ish. So, I'll give "I, Monster" ***.
Well, this one was... interesting. I just have one question: Spidey constantly rdepends on his Spidey sence to avoid dangers. Wouldn't he figgure something was wrong when it didn't tingle at the first sign of danger? I think he's smarter than to be pulled into an illusion like that. Then again, Mysterio... Anyway, this Synario person is, well, stupid. Kinda reminds me of a female Mysterio... "Seeing is Disbelieving" will get **1/2 stars. Back to review page
