As I've said over in X-men, Joe Kelly ROCKS! Deadpool is one of my favorite comics, with the perfect mixture of drama and comedy! Walter's art is great, perfectly enhanced by the awesome coloring by Digital Chamelion (best I've seen). The story was cool. I seriously hope 'Pool joines LL&L. It sure would make for an interesting story. Anyway, the part when 'Pool killed Doris, he almost made sence when he gave his reasons for killing her... Raitin' time! I gotta give a **** for "New Year's Evolutions", cuz it's just so dang good!
A gun in a sheep! How do they come up with these things? Hehehe. Now, Bullseye was that big mystery guest star they were raving about? OOOOhhh, such an honorary guest!<---Note the sarcasm. Geez. Oh well. I can't get enough of that art! Oh yeah, it's gooood! OK, so I'm gonna grade. I'm kinda hesitanat to give anything over **** for ANY comic, 'cept the PERFECT comic (which I might have found, more on this later). So, "Win, Loose, or Draw Blood" gets ****. I LOVE THE ART!
Mithras revealed! What a shocker! Who would think that 'Pool could be the savior of the world? Not Wade, that's for sure. I'm glad whe came to his sences and apologized to Al. It's about time. They make a good couple (not a couple couple! a friend couple. What did you think I meant? Boy, you are SICK!). I'm looking forward to #20 when they spot that thing, that's for sure. Well, I'll give "You Want Me To Do What?" ***1/2.
OH BABY! Wade vs. Francis, round 2! Gotta love that. Francis is realy... no wait, I meant Ajax! Sorry there! Anyway, Ajax is realy annoying. He just won't die. How's 'Pool gonna kill a guy who WON'T DIE? Probably with the spinal tap Killbrew mentioned. Anyway, looking forward to the slaughterfest next ish. I'll give "Karmic Relief" ***1/2.
The final showdown! Wade actually killed him using BRAINS and a bit of brawn as well. And Killbrew actually has a soul. Who knew? I wonder if the ghosts will show up in later issues, seeing as how they aren't in the afterlife. This was a GOOD ish, so I'll give "The Quick and the Dead" ****.
Poor Monty. Poor poor Monty. He made friends with 'Pool, and they went and erased the memory. Dixon is such a, well, y'know. Batroc was kinda a neat appearance. I LOVED seeing him with broken legs. Well, I'll give "Juctice, Order & Luck or... Skinless Drooler's Day Off" ****.
