Description
Combat FISTS allows skilled users the ability to detect and engage
targets with various firearms with extreme accuracy while maintaining contact
with other agents. This system allows the user to see through his
gun for aiming, target recognition, long range listening, and night operations.
Data is automatically process through a Bureau Laptop and handed off to
others with the Bureau
Cell Phone and other FIST systems. The agent
is able to point their gun around corners and obstructions, identify, aim
and shoot while remaining under cover. A wide choice of sensors allows
the user to configure the system to the immediate needs. The system
includes target recognition, mapping, agent locations and automated coordination
with other FISTS systems.
System Components
Helmet
Combat FISTS uses the standard issue Bureau
Helmet in found in the BISEP.
It has a much more capable system than the Covert FISTS. The display monocle
is larger and in color. A night vision camera is helmet mounted
for easier work at night. Gun Camera and Helmet images, GPS Data,
Maps, Laptop Data and images from other FISTS units can be displayed on
this system.
Gun
The gun is either a heavily modified M16A2 assault rifle. The
gun is shorter than the standard '16, has a front pistol grip and mounting
rails for equipment, and the necessary wiring for the system. Standard
mounting for this weapon is a Thermal Sight, Wide Optic Sight, Iron Sights,
Digital Compass and Laser rangefinder. Up to two other attachments
can be added onto the gun.
Railing Add-ons
Directional Microphone |
For listening and Direction finding. Adds +10% to tracking /
stalking rolls if target is making noise. |
Laser designator |
For calling in laser guided munitions. Works with the RV's Hellfire
missiles and laser guided bombs. Has a range of 1000 yards. |
Motion Sensor |
For detecting invisible opposition. Standing still, sweep gun
back and forth in a smooth arc. |
Macrowave Beamer |
One shot freeze ray. |
Microwave Beamer |
One shot Cooker. |
Computer Pack
To link all this all stuff together is the computer pack. It
is a low profile backpack containing a Bureau
Laptop, a Bureau
Cell Phone and an Attachment Harness. The Laptop
and Phone both plug into the Harness via separate docking stations.
Once all systems are plugged in, the system starts up. The user has
several modes to choose from. The user can coordinate with other
FIST systems, automatically ID people, vehicles and weapons, give the user
his or other FISTS weapons status, control drones and view other units
cameras. This is all handled through inputs on the weapon, enabling
the user to always be on the ready. You can split the view screen
into two separate viewers, to perhaps look at a map while still looking
through his Thermal Camera.
