On this page, you will learn about a new character I have created for the Star Wars Universe. His name is Hana Sidra and he used to be a very well respected and honored Jedi Knight in the time between Episode 1 & Episode 3. Down below you will find his stats and background history, the first two chapters on the 1st story I started writing for him, and the first semi-chapter of a brand new story I'm working on. Comments and feedback are appreciated. Thanks

Hana Sidra's profile

Name: Hana Sidra

Homeworld: Corellia

Species/Sex: Human/Male

DOB: 41 years before Battle of Yavin

Eyes/Hair: grey/silver

Clothing: Long black Jedi cloak with two silver cresent moon symbols on both sleeves, black shirt, black pants, silver belt with lightsaber attached (blade is silver)

Jewelry: a small silver cresent moon necklace around his neck that he never takes off.

Other Features: Slashing scar on his right shoulder from where the rouge Sith's lightsaber cut through him

Ship: "The Redemption" (specially modified Corellian Corvette), "Dark Reality" (A modified Incom X-Wing Starfighter)

Brief Bio: This mysterious figure is known throughout the galaxy. He is a loner, a man who will do whateveer it takes to accomplish what he must do. He was first discovered by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi had sensed how strong in the force he was and brought him to Coruscant to begin training to become a Jedi Knight. Obi-Wan and Hana developed a close friendship, but Hana was unable to be Obi-Wan's apprentice after Kenobi took on Anakin Skywalker as his apprentice to honor the last wish of his former mentor Qui-Gon Jinn. Hana grew to have a good friendship with Anakin also and soon became a Jedi Knight. He was liked and well respected through the galaxy. Then came the Clone Wars. Not much information is known about that era but during that time, Hana's family was wiped out when a rouge Sith warrior destroyed them and then made a mockery of Hana's family and legacy. Hana would proceed to defeat the rouge Sith but that whole exchange destroyed Hana's mental state and his emotional state. Not even Obi-Wan Kenobi could bring him around. The Council noticed that Hana's presence in the Force had changed after this whole incdent. His aura had become disturbed and distorted. He no longer cared about right and wrong and walked a very fine line between the light side of the Force and the dark side. Just before Anakin Skywalker was turned into Darth Vader and the violent Jedi purge took place at the hands of Emperor Palpatine, Hana left in his modified Corellian Corvette "The Redemption" for the Unknown Regions For the longest time, during the events of the Galactic Civil War, nothing was heard from Hana until shortly after the destruction of the 2nd Death Star and the death of Emperor Palpatine, "The Redemption" was spotted by a gang of smugglers doing a run from Kessel. Only one man survived to bring news of the "Redemption" return as Hana quickly destroyed everyone of the ships that stood in his path. What agenda does this rouge Jedi have? Or does he even have one? He has no allegiance to the New Republic or The Empire, only to himself. One thing if for certain, whatever his plans are, he will do anything to make them suceed, no matter who or what is standing in his way.

Redemption of a Jedi (only the first two chapters so far)

Introduction

A small flash of light appeared in a remote sector in the Outer-Rim. If anyone was around to notice, they would have seen that following the flash of light, a ship exited from hypersapce. To the untrained eye, it would look like a normal Corellian Corvette, but outward appearances are often deciving.

At the controls, a dark figures sits hunched over, checking readouts and planning his next destination. His silver hair flows down his back like a river, his black clothes make the figure blend in with the surroundings, except for the two sliver cresent moon symbols on both sleeves of his robe. A black and grey lightsaber is attached to the figures belt. He finishes inserting the calculations for his next jump and looks up. His grey eyes seem to penetrate space, as if searching for something or someone. And with just that one look, Hana Sidra, Jedi Master, disappears back into hyperspace as quickly as he appeared.

Chapter 1

The flares of many different engines appeared over the bleak, dusty covered planet of Celos II. For many in the Outer-Rim, there were only two places to go when trying to avoid any contact with law-enforcement officals. One was Mos Eisly on the desert planet of Tatooine, and the other was at the "Dead Man's Curve" Cantina on Celos 2. In there, every type of scum was represented, from bounty hunters to smugglers to just plain killers.

Borce Yagar sat in a large table in cantina, surrounded by 5 lovely women. They ranged from human to Wookie but Yagar took no notice of that. To him, they were all admirers of his, there to praise him and all of his exploits in the Outer-Rim. Yager was a man of 35, slighty greying hair on the sides of his head, but everywhere else, jet black. His face was very weary from years of smuggling and escaping from the law. His left arm had been blown off during an encounter with a determined bounty hunter, in whice Yagar barely managed to escape. Now a cybernetic replacement served for his lost limb.

Yager downed another gulp of Corellian brandy and turned to the girl next to him and in a drunken slur, managed to mutter, "You know, I don't care for those stinken Corellians much, but I have to admit that they make a damn fine brandy!" He then let loose a huge rumbling laugh and then passed out in a drunken stupor on the table.

The door of the cantina opened and everyone in the cantina turned to see who the new arrival was. Standing in the doorway, dressed in a black robe with silver cresent moons on the sleeves, a black belt witha silver lightsaber noticably attached, the man pushed back the hood of his robe. His white hair tumbled down his back, looking like a snow field on Hoth. His grey eyes seem to penerate and see everyone in the cantina, no matter how bad the lighting was. He then turned his attention to where Yagar was passed out. He walked calmy and slowly towards the table. As he was doing this, the bartneder droid managed to say, "Excuse me sir, but we do not want any trouble at this cantina". The man's head snaped quickly in the direction of the droid and sent a look to the droid whice, if the droid had human emotions, would have sent shivers up his back. The droid seemed to sense the severarity of the situation and quietly inched his way to the other side of the bar.

The man reached the table and grabed Yagar by his shirt collar and lifted him up with ease. That was enough to bring Yagr around and as he struggled to get out of this man's strong grip, he managed to yell, "What the hell do you think you're doing?? Do you know who I am????" As he was talking, Yagar's hand slowly went down to reach for his blaster, but just as he was about to get to it, the blaster snaped out of the holster like an invisable grip snatched it and hurled it to the end of the bar where it exploded, taking out one section of the nearest wall.

Yagar looked at the man in terror, not knowning what was going to happen to him and everyone around him, while terrifed of this newcommer, was ammused to see the "great" Borce Yagar shaking in his boots. The man bent his head to Yagars and quietly said, "I want to know where your boss is" Yagar blinked for a second. "What are you talking about??" he managed to stammer out. The man tightened his grip. "Don't play games. Where is Diedric Granos???" Yagar looked at him in suprise. "Granos?? I haven't worked with him in years, why would you want that old fossil?" The man just stared back into Yagar's eyes and said, "I have some unfinished business with him". Yagar managed to smirk and said, "Well, last time I saw the old fossil, he was hauling cargo out by Nal Hutta, but like I said, that was years ago. Who knows what he's doing now" The man took in the information and let Yagar go, dropping the man hard back into his seat and then started to leave. Yagar then removed his holdout blaster and started to aim for the mysterious man's head when the man reached for the lightsaber on his belt, acitvated it, producing a gleaming silver blade. He blocked the first and only shot Yagar managed to get off before he sliced down through Yagar's good arm. Yagar fell down in agony, clutching the stump of his last remaining arm, while the man calmly deactivated his saber and reattached it to his belt. As he was leaving, he looked over his shoulder to Yagar, who was still crying and holding the stump, when he said, "Oh, and if you do see Granos, tell him that Hana Sidra is looking for him to repay an old debt." And then he disappeared out the door, leaving Yagar without an arm, and the rest of the patrons in the cantina muttering about this strange visitor and how they could sell the information to the highest bidder.

Chapter 2

After the brief but useful confrontation with Yagar at the cantina, Hana started to walk back to the hanger bay that housed his ship, "The Redemption". To the untrained eye, most people would see it as a beat-up Corellian Corvette that should have been taken out of service long ago, but outward appearance masked the real power of the ship. It was equipped with a main shield generator with 2 backups, 8 turbolaster emplacements, 16 proton torpedo launchers, 5 ion cannons and 3 tractor beam emiters. It had taken Hana quite a while to get the ship up to the standard and shape he wanted but he finally completed work on her two years ago.

Hana approached the hangar bay and proceeded to walk down the hallway to docking bay 62 where "The Redemption" was docked. As he got to the main door, he noticed the security lock had been sliced off, probably with a type 3 fusion cutter. Hana opened the door quietly and walked down the few steps, careful to stay in the shadows. As he approached the end of the stairs, he could hear 2 voices talking. "I told you Grim, it won't work!" said a voice that he couldn't place. "Look, there has got to be something in that damn toolbox of yours that will get this landing ramp down. No ship has this good of a security system, except for maybe Boba Fett's ship but I know Fett's ship and this definatly ain't the Slave 1" said the man who was previously identified as Grim. Hana peeked around the corner and finally got a look at the two "would be" theives. One was abour his height, strong build. He had jet black hair, a jacket made out of dewback hide, and currently a toolbelt attached to himself that had every known slicing tool there was to find out here in the Outer-Rim. The other, Grim most likely, was a far contrast to his partner. Only a few meters shorter than the other, Grim had long scraggly blond hair, a unshaven beard. He had a dewback hide jacket as well, but unlike the other who was built, Grim apparently let himself go over the years and developed a hearty belly for himself.

Hana calmly walked out from the shadows, unnoticed by the two thieves. "No, it's not the Slave 1, but it's just as deadly to people who would try and steal it" said Hana. The two whirled around quickly, Grim managing to get his blaster out of the holster, all though he didn't fire it. The other, with so many tools on him, could only mange to point a hydrospanner at Hana. "Who are you?" Grim said. Hana walked slowly to where they were standing, stopping about 5 feet short. "Why, I am the owner of this vessel, and I really wouldn't like to have to explain to the local police why I had to kill you two for trying to steal my ship, so I'm going to give you to the counter of 10 to get out of here and trust me, you don't want to be here when I reach 10". The other man with the hydrospanner seemed like he was about to run for his life but Grim stood fast. "Well mister, you obviously didn't notice that I'm the one holding the blaster so how about you open your little tin box of a ship for us here and take off before you have a smoking crater where your stomach used to be?" Hana just smiled. "1..............2..............." The other man started to back off towards the auxilliary exit, and Grim turned his head to see him backoff. 'What are you doing? I got the gun, he's got nothing, don't be a scared Mynok!" Hana sent a stare at the other man who was trying to leave, then turned his attention back to Grim, "......3......." In a flash, Hana has quickly moved to the other side of the ship before Grim could manage to squeeze off a shot. The shot went wild, hitting a Gonk droid who was powering up in the corner whice exploded in a million sparks. Hana withdrew his saber with devilsh speed and ignited it, the silver blade illuminating the room. With one quick trust, he blocked a 2nd shot from Grim, and slashed down, cutting Grim right in two, the blaster falling out of his hands and landing with a clunk on the cold hangar floor. The other man stared in horror at his former partner, then turned his head up terrified to see Hana staring at him. "I thought you said we had to the count of 10!" Hana just gave him a cold smile "I lied. Now you can actually be the smart one and get out of here now, or do you want to split in two like your partn.....oh, I'm sorry, I mean your EX-partner." The other man dropped the toolbelt and ran as fast as he could towards the exit and vanished out the door.

Hana deactivated his saber and attached it to his belt. He looked at the smoldering halves of the man formerly known as Grim. He shook his head and entered the security code to let the landing ramp drop. As he powered up the displays and set course for Nal Hutta, he put a call into the Air Traffic Controllers. "This is "The Redemption" requesting clearance to leave hangar bay 62, oh, and you might want to send a clean-up crew down here" And with that, "The Redemption" shot off into the sky, vanishing into hyperspace for Nal Hutta and his "old friend" Diedric Granos.

"Through The Mist"

Chapter 1

Through the darkness of space, it can be said that everyone who has traveled the galazy knows for a certaintly that they will die in space. Most men don't give it a second though and continue on their ways of smuggling, cargoing, and whatever is their mission in life, with the possibly new stamina in part of the thought process of, "Well, if everyone is going to die, than I might as well live it up to the fullest whice I'm around". This may be true for most but there was one soul in the universe who didn't share the feelings on the subject as the rest. For you see, in this man's heart, body and soul, he was already dead. The fact that his body still functioned, that his lungs still took in air was just a general motor function that had not caught up with the train of thought this man was on.

But that was no matter to Hana Sidra who sat in the cockpit of his ship the Redemption and stared out into the cold recesses of space itself. Time, space, life, love, emotions, these things were lost on Sidra. It wasn't that he didn't know about them, it was just that he ceased to care or think about them at all. There was nothing left in his life anymore, with the exception of the Force whice was always there, ready to aid him, shield him, it's power was his to command. He understood all too well about the light side and the dark side of the Force but Sidra exsisted in the Force as a new player all his own. It was like his presence in the force was clouded by shades of grey. Not pure light, not pure darkness yet a mixture of the two and that made him even more dangerous. He had no feelings anymore, he expressed no remorse or regret, he didn't love or hate or feel sorry for anything. Not since his whole world had been destroyed around him so many years ago. Since then, he roamed the galaxy, never staying in one place. When he did show up, you never now what he was up to. Sometimes he did good, sometimes he was as bad as they come. But through all of it, it never affected him in the slightest. He only did what he had to do in order to reach the goal of the present that he was searching for and complete his mission.

He finally turned to the navigational computer and set his course. He had heard through many comm channels and sources that the New Republic had located an ancient Jedi weapon, capable of controling the minds of millions with just a single thought from it's user. It had been developed during the great Sith Wars as a way of defeating their enemies but the war ended before it had a chance to be used. The Jedi Council at the time deemed that the weapon was too powerful to remain and risk falling into the hands of any Sith that had survived or anyone who might use it in the future so they had encased the weapon in a deap holding container and used the Force to mask any presence it might give off to other force users. With this done, they had sent it into a heart of a gas giant planet in the Xendi Omacron system where they had hoped it would remain forever, buried forever. Unfortunatly, a mining team had found the weapon while mining Corusca Gems in the core of the planet and had brought it to Coruscant for study. All ready Luke Skywalker himself, head of the Jedi Order, had left the comforts of Yavin 4 and had traveled to the center of the galactic leadership to further understand it's workings. What they didn't know is someone else would be dropping in on the party. Sidra knew that Skywalker would never use the weapon but there was too many people in the galaxy who would and he also didn't like the idea of it being in the hands of.....diplomats. He knew that he must destroy the weapon once and for all, where the Jedi Masters of yesteryear had failed and if Skywalker or the New Republic got in his way.......Well, nothing personal against them but they would soon find out that nothing could prevent Hana Sidra from accomplishing his mission. He made the final calculations and made the jump to lightspeed a minute after, heading towards the center of the New Republic itself before someone used the weapon to destroy the entire universe as we know it.

"To be continued in Chapter 2!"
