This young man is about 15 or 16 turns of age. His ash blonde hair is longish, and tends to hang in front of his blue eyes. It gives him quite a rougish look. And what his hair doesn't accomplish, his light complexion, complete with freckles, completes. He looks absolutely mischievous.
Everett is wearing a red tunic and a vest that's dyed a darker shade of that same color. His pants are brown, and he wears a nicely tooled, leather belt around his waist. If one looks close enough, they could see that there's no particular design tooled into the belt, it's merely decorative. On his feet are a pair of stout, black weyrhide boots. |
Everett was born and raised in Harper/Healer Hall. His father is a Healer Master and his mother a Harper Journeywoman. Since his mother journeys alot, he was raised at the hall mostly by his father.
As he grew up, Everett helped out around the hall, sweeping, clearing dishes, running errands for the masters, whatever needs to be done. As time went on, he became very good at loafing. He had the art down to a science on how to avoid being told to run an errand to the hold by the Headwoman or having to sweep the hall floors.
When he was about 15 turns old, he met Jersan, the son of a Master Healer. He immediately thought he'd found a kindred spirit (and a cute one at that) and went about making friends. Eventually he convinced Jersan to go on a fishing trip with him. It was there that he discovered that the attraction he felt for Jersan was quite mutual. From then on, the two were inseperable.
Having, at this point, distiguished his need for privacy, Everett prevailed on the Hall Steward to make him into an assistant, since he did alot of the work already. This way he got his own room too. No more dorms. While he was at it, he got Jersan in as an assistant as well, mostly so Jersan's intolerant father wouldn't figure out about them.
Eventually though, Jersan's father did find out, and beat Jersan for the indiscretion. The result was, Jersan's father was sent from the hall, and Jersan lost a good portion of his memory, including the part about Everett.
They slowly restarted their relationship, and Jersan slowly got some, but not all, of his memory back. It's hard, but they keep working on it. Who said that any relationship would be easy?
