They Tried To Chase Away!Hidden Deep In Our Hearts

Strong Against The Conquerors Darts
Our Darlings-They Shall Never SlayFrom The Visions Of Our Otherworld

Of The True & Loyal Catti Tribes

Shamrock /"Seamrog"
Irish for "Little Clover"
enlightenment & wisdom !
It symbolizes creativity & being tuned into your secret inner life.
It can also sometimes denote a need for some privacy
to protect yourself from scrutiny that might thwart your creativity
while exploring mystical secrets .
The Shamrock
also symbolizes "The Three Sisters"
The Sun,
Moon & Earth.
(Hope, Faith
& Love of the 3 Shamrock Leaves)
To the ancient
Irish the Sun was the feminine, Gréine.
Sun Gods
were Son's of the Sun, rather than the sun itself.
Meaning that
they were bright & shining champions.
Lugh is a
beloved example of a Solar Deity.
And the feminine
champion, Goddess Macha,
was called
"Grain Branchure"
meaning "The
Sun of Womenfolk".
The Sun was
Big Sun & the Moon was Little Sun,
& the
Earth was their other Sister.
Besides three
in one Triple Deities such as Brighid,
there were
Goddesses who were three sisters.
And of course
in pre-celtic Ireland,
there were
Eire, Banba & Fodla of the island itself.
And of course
there are the three of Sky, Land & Sea!
The Shamrock
as Triple Deity Symbol
Three &
multiples of threes
were long
held in special regard by the Irish.
The Irish
concept of Triple Deity, (as for example Brighid)
predates
christian missionaries to Ireland, such as St. Patrick.
Actually,
The Roman Church borrowed the trinity from the Celts,
(as well
as the symbology of the shamrock ) & not the other way around.
The shamrock
& Triple Deity, such as Brighid long preceded the
christainized
"Doctrine of Trinity" which was simply a masculinization
& judeo-christian
version of this pre-existing triple deity concept,
While St.
Patrick was later sometimes credited with using
the shamrock's
3 leaves to teach the Irish-Pagans
about the
concept of the (3 in 1) triple "Holy Trinity",
in all fairness
the Irish & Celtic understanding of such a concept
& of
the shamrock long pre-existed christianity itself!
Also, historical
fact has it that the christian "Doctrine of Trinity"
was not even
a part
of
christian doctrine, (including the Roman Christian Church,)
at the time
of St. Patrick's sojourn to Ireland.
The
doctrine of Trinity (De Trinatate ) was first formulated
& introduced
to christianity by the Gaulish bishop St. Hillary of Pontiers,
in the 500's
& was subsequently amalgamated by the Roman Church,
to utilize
& capitalize on the Celtic triple obsession. ;o)
The Shamrock's
Other Legendary Functions :
The Shamrock
was also long before considered special to the Irish people.
The "magical
powers" of the Shamrock
were largely
due to it's helpful weather warning attributes.
It's three
upright standing (clover) leaves
warned of
impending storms & made it quite useful for such predictions.
As the green
of new life, the shamrock was associated with
"Mother Nature"
& of Irish Mother "Danu" & her Divine Children.
Also known
to others as "The Flower Faced Fey Queen Mother-Giver of Life"
Three leafed
clovers were also sacred to the Triple Goddess, such as Brighid.
The lucky
four leafed clover was symbolic of the wheel of the seasons
The 4 leaves
can represent Hope, Faith, Love & Luck.
The Luck
is found in that fourth leaf. ;o)
White four
leaf clovers were thought to drive off ill-intent.
Finding a
four leaf clover was a good luck sign
that something
good was about to happen
or one was
about to find something good.
Long associated
with "good Luck", the rare four-leafed clover
was thought
to be even more lucky than the prevalent three-leafed clover.
Finding a
four leaf clover was thought to empower you with
good luck
& a wish.
Thus it could
give you entrance to & protection in a faery ring,
if one was
nearby & if you desired to visit.
The symbol
of the Shamrock can be found on old copper coins nicknamed "Leprechaun
Money".

image can also be found on medieval grave stones
& even
some modern ones!
The Shamrock
& The 4 leafed clover
are still
considered lucky to the Irish,
& this
concept has spread to many other cultures.
Greens &
Shamrocks have come to represent
"The Luck
Of The Irish".
Most Proud
Irish, & Irish Immigrants
& All
Lovers of The Irish & Irish Lore,
still delight
in wearing green
& shamrocks
around this time
every year
& also on March 17th.
March 17th
has come to mean the celebration of everything playful & wonderful
of Ireland. Parades, Festivities, Celtic-Music,Irish-Lore, St. Patrick's
Lore, Green Beer, Irish Drinks & Recipes & Fae-Lore! And last,
but certainly not least-Those Magical Mischievous Leprechaun Stories!!!!!!!!!!!!!
