Christmas is a celebration
of the birth
of the beautiful baby Jesus!
It is a time to remember the Love
we should have learned.
A time that reminds us,
to share & to be giving.
One cannot blame someone as beautiful as Jesus for the inequality
that persists into our modern times.
Jesus cannot be blamed for "Christian" Cults that oppress others,
this is certainly not what Jesus said he had in mind.
(Especially bearing in mind that the original Hebrew (hence"Biblical")
(words for the word "God" or Creator )
was written & pronounced , "Elohim"
& many other words also, were not originally
gender-specific to males & were only later translated into
masculine forms for "God" & many other "He"words,
by males who were doing the interpreting during times
known to be quite sexist against women.
The word "Elohim" was actually non-gender specific plural noun.
The word "god", which it was translated to in English
is actually derived from the English word "Gotte"
which meant "Bull".
Hence the creator was incorrectly called "he"
in most interpretations.
The saddest thing about it, is that,
religions, such as this, that defined "godde" (creator) as above
gender
(& at the time were intended at first as welcome relief
from the abuses of the politically patriarchal-militaristic times)
yet, have since become some of the most common
mis-excuses for the very fem-gender oppressions
they sought to relieve. Happily,We still have time to correct this.
Religion should never be an excuse for slavery or domination ,
because of a persons colour or gender.
This kind of unjustice is the very thing Christ taught against.
While learning from it all, we can take the positive
from our collective pasts,
& disgard the negative from our traditions,
to share a more loving, inclusive spirituality)
A Cristo-Pagan Interpretation of A Great Christmas Love
Story.
The story of Joseph & Mary & Jesus & their family, also
demonstrates
profound love between man & woman
& that no child is" illegitimate", since all children come
from "heaven"
or what one might call The Spirt World..
It is about a mother who survives premarital pregnancy (not by her fiance)
& other hardships & is not abandoned by her loved ones.
It is about a couple that survives all this,
& even goes on to marry & have more children together.
This is about people who believe in their psychic dreams of love &
forgiveness.
(Joseph has faith to believe in his dream,
which tells him that thse Baby comes from the Spirit World
& that it is not Mary is not to be blamed for anything.)
How many women who are raped outside of marraige & become pregnant,
are given this kind of loving, non-judgemental understanding,
even in this day & age?
This story begins with an unconditional love.
It teaches us that one need not feign belief in emmaculate conceptions,
to understand that all beings are foremost children of the immortal,
no matter how hard their earthly beginnings appear.
It requires a deep understanding of unconditional love.
It is not surprizing, that this child shared in their gift of love.
Or that such a child would grow to believe that sharing this love
could save the world.
Sadly teaching equality & love for all , threatened the status quo
of the times,
& Jesus was murdered for this message of equality & love.
No Matter Your Colours or Traditions:
Love is the answer!
Such a pure & simple message!
Said by many kind mouths & tongues,
No matter your spirituality.
It all comes down to the same thing.
Love is the answer!
Yet,when will humankind understand?
