Remember to
wash your face
in the morning
dew of Fay May Day.
May is a wonderful
time for contact
with the
Fey Folk.
Plants, Flowers,
birds & animals
springing
forth in abundance
are most
delightful
for nature-lovers
to behold.
You may wish
to celebrate the Nature Elementals
of your own
areas,
"Nature Elfen"
or what some call "Nature Divas"
or Greenfolk,
also at this time.
Always be
sure that you also honor the Sidhe though too.
And every
time is a marvelous time
to remember
our Great Mother Dánu!
May Eve is the Sacred Time
of the arrival of The Tuatha de Danann,
to the west part of Emerald Forest Isle.
It is
a special time to remember
the Emerald
Isle (Éire) Sidhe,
&
The Tuatha de Danann,
as well as
universal Nature Fey
& WaterFey
of Mother Nature.
May Eve is
one of the Great Sidhe Spirit Nights!
The Sidhe
are thought to be at their most joyous
& their
dancing, pipes,harp music
& revelry
& celebrating rings through the air!
The Shining
Ones live evermore.
"Nothing
escapes the Sidhe race, we know all things...
.......our
powers are greatest at La Bel Tinne."
Who will be
the May Queen?
Who shall
she choose as her symbolic May King?
The Light
Half of the year is truly returning.
Sacred fires
are rekindled,
& animals
are decorated & blessed between two of them.
White She-Cows
are very good luck right now.
Any Such
cows are decorated with garlands as well.
Although
the time for the hard, yet joyous work
of seeding
crops is coming upon many humans.
May is also:
A Time for
Fey-May Tree Dancing-or "May Pole" Dancing
& celebrating
the renewal of life.
We happen
to use our real Fey Apple Tree friend
to dance
around for May Eve.
She is still
flourishing & gets lots of nurturing year `round.
So if you
are gentle enough with tree,
the Tree
may be a living tree, who can join in.
Wish Ribbons
& garlands may be gently tied
to the May
Fey Tree or Fey Bush
or in the
case of a May Pole,
a pretty
decorated feminine wreath
should be
placed & secured on the very top of it,
with ribbons
dangling down to
within the
reach of celebrants..
Celebrate
both the human feminine
& human
masculine fertility too.
This is a
grand time for Lovers.
Once the
May Tree or May-Pole is ready,
you can dance
& sing in a
"Merry go
Round the May-Tree"
deosil dancing
fashion (so to speak) or
dancing westwardly
moonwise as you go -
following
the circular rhythms of nature.
`Round &
round we go to celebrate
the Fertility
& Joys of Spring,
The friendship
of the FeyFolk in our lives,
Mother Nature's
Blessings & just being Alive.
`Round &
around we dance the circle `round,
full of delight!
Crowns &
Boughs May Dance Game:
Another greenery
game that is played is that,
the females
make beautiful garland wreaths
of greenery
& flowers,
for crowns
that they wear on their heads.
The males
decorate boughs to bring to the May Dance..
The female
can toss the circular garland wreath Crown
towards their
desired male, & he is to try to catch it
with his
lovely bough that he uses like a green wand..
If she succeeds
in hurling it well to her desired one
&
he likewise succeeds as well at hooking catch of it
with his
bough,
then
they can dance or skip off together,
hand in hand
to share their Lover's time together
out in nature,
under the vale of trees,
amongst the
greenery & flowers. ;o) wink-wink
"Cetshamain"
or "La Bel Tinne",
(Bel tinne,
Shining One's Fire)
(Beltaine)
is one of the great Fire Festivals.
In Éire,
Beltaine is a delight to behold..
Bel: Bright,
Brilliant Shining....
Beltane still
stands for the month of May in Irish.
Yet
of course, it is also a time to celebrate Water. ;o)
May is the
month of
the "Flower
Faery Moon".
It is also
known by other names:
Flower Moon,
Hare Moon,
Merry Moon,
"Moon When
Ponies Shed",
Dryad Moon,
Dyad Moon,
Bright Moon,
Joy Moon,
Planting Moon
& Sprout
Kale Moon by others.
May Day Celebrations
often begin on
May Eve &
last right through May Day up to the 3rd.
Then it is
time for Sacred Moon Tree Day
on The 4th
of May.
around May
4th-

Now for Some of our original Filidh creations
in honor of the Feyfolk & May Eve & May Day.
A Fey Merry Merfolk Blessing:
Fae Freedom!
Here's A Little Feykith Rhyme,
i wrote with You & The
Fey In Mind:
"Freedom Forever Lives In
Us:
Children of Forms
of The Fey-Qween Goddess:
Ever Loving, Ever Free!
This is how The Fey Shall
be!
Traveling all delightful realms,
as we shift our precious
forms!
Both Human Females & The
Fey:
We were never designed to
be anyone's slaves.
We shall remain unconquerable
to the "end".
And at all "ends", begin
again.
We The Free; Are ever free,
To Live as Life's Glad Testimony!
All "would be masters" shall
be undone,
As Freedom & The Feykith
dance as one!
For As We Dream; We really
can become!
For As We Dream; We Shall
Become!"

A Joyful Fey-Kith Meditation
of The Emerald Grove
Dearest Mother
& Father,
We believe that as emanating
from
"The Loving Life Source",
our Spiritual
Mother & Father
are limitless
& can take on any loving
form
they choose !
Even when we see a little
flower
we know that the same life energy
that illuminates it,
illuminates
all of Nature & Life."

A Fey-Filidh
Labor of Love In Progress:
A Work In
Progress:
(This Maytide
meditation will be turned into a rhyming song,
to help folks
memorize the Ballad.)
A
Tale of One Fine Green Day of May
Tiny
Tigerish Tale of the Tuirgente
The Fae's
Green Man lovingly peeks
his face
out of the Emerald Forest Isle's
Sacred Grove
of Trees to smile at you.
Greenery
frames his gentle, handsome face.
You stop
to smell a flower & for a few seconds
you catch
a glimpse of a tiny Water-Sprite
playing in
the dewdrops of the blossoming rosebuds.
The singing
of the Birds carries an
enchanting
melody through the air.
We sing poetic
enchantments, teinm laegda.
The poetic
songs of the Filidh de Danann ring out.
Wondrous
answers are revealed.
A Butterfly
flutters by you & timeless memories
of your soul's
tuirgen are reawakened within you
& come
flooding back to you.
A gentle
breeze caresses you & you are overwhelmed
with a complete
feeling of joy & love for Mother Nature
& all
her creatures great & small.
Buíochas
le Danu!
You sense
your three inner cauldrons of inspiration
illuminated
full of joy,
the nurturing
warmth of your

in your warming womb/belly,
the awareness
of the creative gifts
of for your

the psychic
emotions in your heart.
Ahhh.. the
joys of *imbas forasna*
the energy
of ancestral traditions of *fith-fath*
fill the
air. Fith-Fath. Fith-Fath. pitter-pat, pitter-pat
*tarbh feis*!
goes our spirit-vision flights.
*Da shealladh*!
Second sight! Second sight!
Ahh...the
wisdom in *dichetul do chennaib*
as you touch
a little feather in the grass,
then touch
your finger to your lip knowingly.
Ahhh.....the
joys in *teinm laegda*
as you enchantingly
sing your poetic song
over the
little owner of the feather,
which you
thus located... fallen in the grass.
Singing enchantments,
until she
rises & takes to the sky
with renewed
life vigour
her lost
soul fragments returned to her.
She is whole!
she is healed
& joins
you in the melody
with her
delightful bird songs.
As heartfelt
joy has turned your creative cup,
*Coire Ermae*
upward with
creative enlightenment
toward your
head held spirit wisdom cup,
*Coire Sois*,
which is
filling with the knowledge
of spirit's
inspirations of universal love
& thus
tips it's face upwards
towards the
sky above you.
You now feel
the harmony within
your *triptych

The harmony

or soul-shrine,
as the body is termed..
As i touch
my now tiny tigerish paw to my lips
a landscape
of wonderment is revealed.
I purrr my
enchanting melody in harmony
with yours
& our new found bird friend.
I lap up
some faery wine you have set out,
i cover myself
with the blanket of greenery
you have
weaved & laid out for me.
A kind of
lacto-eggo-vegetarians'
kind of *tarbh
feis* or *taghairm*. ;o) wink
For no bull,
nor stag,
nor any wild
or domestic creature
was asked
to forfeit their body or life's blood
for the making

What a gentle
*taibhsear* are thee.
Dare i say,
what kind-hearted *Filidh* are we.
And me, still
no less free in this tiny tigerish body,
than i was
in another life as your happy lively mate.
A mhuirnín
dílis! It's good to see you again!
You hold a
looking-glass up before me
& i am
surprised to see,
i am not
a giant tiger i fancied myself afterall,
but rather
a wee Lynx like kit here sitting with thee.
Well,
some things don't change.
As i recall,
when we knew each other both in human forms,
you were
always kind enough to let me fancy myself
a little
grander than i was back then too. ;o)
Duine á
rá agus Beandía á dhéanamh!
How we adored
one another. A rún mo chroí!
What a fine
companion you were.
A chuisle
mo chroí! purrrrrrr
For i drank
your faery wine made from the milk of a cow
the unfertilized
egg of a hen, the honey of the bees,
some nectar
gathered by a hummingbird & a butterfly,
a sprinkle
of Faery Dust & an Enchanted Emerald
& your
secret herbs soaking within
you let drop
in a burning ember of sage.
It bubbles
out. Fire & water...fire & milk.
Yummy! i
lap it up eagerly
as you &
birdie sing over me.
i purrr-purrr-purr
in harmony.
I smell the
sweet incense of your burning wand
of sweet
grass, sage & cedar
as you wave
it rhythmically towards my feline face.
A gentle
reminder of how much the shamanka
of many lands
share. Fire & Water, Earth & Air.
Land, Sky,
Sea!
Spirit &
Soul! Fith-fath! Fith-Fath! Fith-Fath!
The rushing
sound of the waterfall seems to
join our
melodious enchantment.
Is that a
water-sprite i glimpse playing in the water,
or am i already
in a trance or dreaming?
I purr some
more & as i drift off into dreams.
I dream of
a Butterfly Winged Fae Queen.
Are Her wings
like unto a tiger-butterflys',
while your
Faery Double's wings
are like
unto a Monarchs'? hmmmmm..
i travel
through delightful Fey Realms
with my Faery
Double,
before returning
full of discovery.
Memories
of my soul's *tuirgen*
come flooding
back to me.
The circuit
of births my soul has been journeying
(a birth
that passes from every nature into another),
with my Anams'
transmigrations,
has delighted
my soul with such visual wonders
as to render
their record virtually ineffable
via my now
tiny-tigerish utterances.
How many
lives have i known you Dear?
I can not
count them all so quickly as it floods me.
But the triptych
of my soul remembers!
This same
precious soul that is i,
now animating
this tiny tigerish body.
I too now
feel joy & love for you,
Mother Nature
& all her creatures,
flora &
fauna.
We have awakened
to joy!
Yes! We have
met many times before
on our souls'
*tuirgente*.
*Da shealladh*!
Ahhh the *second sight*
we both had
in that incarnation,
where we
befriended one another so quickly
on our beloved
"Isle of Destiny",
.....our
Éire of long ago.
Do you remember
the mischief it got me into
that day
after our visit to The Isle of Skye,
when i let
slip out about Caer McNéill's
co-walking
*coimimeadh* & her hubby
overheard
me & quite misunderstood. ;o)
We live &
learn my dear friend,
live &
die & are born again.
Thankyou so
much for sharing
this lively
& beautiful spring day
with me in
our Emerald Grove.
A mhuirnín
dílis! We shall surely meet again anew.
Le cúnamh
Danu!
When this
incarnation is through,
i'll meet
you in The Realms of Fey,
then whisper
our secret names
& i'll
remember to cherish you.
purrrrrrrrrr-purrrrrr-purrrrrrr

More Lore for May Eve & May Day Celebrations.
May Eve is
one of the Great Sidhe Spirit Nights!
The Sidhe
are thought to be at their most joyful
& their
dancing, pipes, music & revelry rings through the air!
The Tuatha
de Danann landed on the Emerald Isle of Destiny,
Innis Fal
(coming to/landing on west-side) on May Eve
long, long
ago.
They came
from "up there" , their landing shrouded in a mist.
They named
what we now call Éire (Ireland)
by their
name of "Isle of Destiny", Innis Fáil.
The Tribe of Dánu, came as Shining Beings of Brightness.
The Tuatha
de Danann had materials & treasures,
of the like
that had never been seen there before.
The descendants
of Divine Dánu,
The Tuatha
de Danann,
became "The
Old Gods & Goddesses of Ireland".
Tá Daghda láidir agus tá Máthair Danu mhaith aige!
They are now
often loved & celebrated & honored
as the "Fey
Folk", "The Gentry", "The People of Peace"
& known
by many other secret names or code names.
It is important
to speak highly of them.
They can
hear everything..
May Eve is
a very special time for them
& the
Veil between Physical Earth Realm
(what some
call "the mundane world")
& those
of the wonderful Otherworld Realms
where they
went,
are
more open now.
Thresholds
between worlds are easier to traverse,
especially
in psychic dreams or vision quests or journeys..
or soul traveling
& so on.
(If you do
so, please be sincere & respectful of others.)
Birch, Hawthorne
& Apple Trees are wonderful trees
to celebrate
at this time.
Many may
be moving from Willow to Hawthorne
while celebrating
for three days & nights, starting May Eve.
Birch makes
a nice Sky Ladder ;o) wink
& Apple
Trees are fond reminders of
Otherworld
Lands of Promise.
Besides celebrating
Beandía
Danu
&
her children
&
the Fey's Greenman & the Greenfolk,
It is also
a wonderful time to review the myths & legends
of the Emerald
Isle & prytannic isles as well.
You may wish
to think about Cliodna & Tadg
& study
their stories too.
This is a
nice time to do so.
The River Boyne was named
for Beandía Bóinn.
as was &
Brugh
na Bóinne.
Bóinn
& her Divine Love Child, Oenghus Mac Óc
along with
his Fey Swan Love-Caer Ibormeith
preside over
Brugh na Bóinne to this day!
Even Mother
Dánu's descendent, Daghda himself
helped make
sure of that. ;o)
May Eve is
a nice time to visit Brugh na Bóinne
in your dreams,
if you show
proper honor to them & their Magical Palace,
both here
& across the Otherworld Veil.
(See Link
below for More on Them-
& More
On These To Come Later On)
Éire,
Bamba & Fodla Blessed Be.
Bóinn,
Daghda & Aonghus Love Thee ;o)
& Dánu/Anu/Áine
Keep Thee Free.
Eternal Blessings
to The Sidhe.

Also, for
those interested in Welsh,
to recall
Rhiannon of The Celtic Welsh.
Rhiannon's
name translates to
"Great Queen"
Rhiannon
rides a white horse
& she
is also able to shapeshift
into a horse.
A horse that
is faster than any other.
She can be
found on the Eclectic May Day page,
along with
some other celebration ideas.
