SOME OF HER CATPEOPLE KIN BECOME CURIOUS
OR TRY TO FOLLOW HER
CONCERNED FOR THEIR SAFETY, THE MERFOLK
ENCOURAGE THE SEA TO STORM AND WAVES TO
CRASH WILDLY AT THE SHORE TO SPLASH
THEIR PRETTY FUR AND WARD THEM OFF
(THIS IS WHY MOST CATS DON'T LIKE TO BE
SUBMERGED IN WATER.) NOT WANTING TO
LEAVE THE CAT'S TOO OFFENDED-
THE MERFOLK GATHER EMERALDS TO
REFLECT KITTY'S GREEN EYES 
& AMBER TO REFLECT HER HAIR-
AND THE STORMY OCEAN SPEWS THEM ON TO THE SHORE,
ALONG WITH SOME CONCH-SHELLS FOR MUSIC MAKING-
SO THE CAT-PEOPLE WILL BE COMFORTED
DURING KITTY'S ABSENCE FROM THEM.
WHEN SHE RETURNS THEY SHARE THE GIFTS WITH HER
AND SHE FINDS THEY HAVE ADORNED 
HER MAGIC MIRROR WITH SOME OF THEM!
HER MAGIC MIRROR WHICH SEES
INTO THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.
THIS IS WHY MERMAIDS ARE FREQUENTLY SEEN
SITTING BY THE WATER ON A ROCK 
GAZING INTO A PRETTY HAND-MIRROR.
IT IS NOT SO MUCH VANITY, BUT DIVINING THE FUTURE
OR GAZING INTO OTHER REALMS AND DIMENSIONS!

OUR BELOVED "Kitty-Fey"!

Kitty-Fey's chatoyant eyes are as green as the sea
and change luster like a cat's eyes.
Amber & and gold shimmers reflecting the sun
and the moon from her long soft hair
she easily shapeshifts when full of joy.
Kitty-Fey is very imaginative & bright!
she is kind and caring
yet playful and impish
she is a lovely parodox

The following poetic ballad as sweetly sung
by Kitty-Fey and her ancestors
has been passed down for many generations
sometimes the name of the child is rotated slightly to reflect
their given childhood names, or to reflect a
particular parents feeling of missing their child.
However the basic ballad has always remained the same
throughout time.

Kitty and the Wild Sea
KITTY WAS A LITTLE CHILD.
IT WAS SUMMER WHEN SHE SMILED.
ON THE PEBBLY BEACH SHE PLAYED
IN THE SUMMER KITTY MADE.

KITTY ON THE BEACH ONE DAY
SAW A MERMAN NIS` AT PLAY.
FAIR AND VERY FAIR WAS HE
JUST A LITTLE CHILD WAS SHE.

KITTY? SAID THE MERMAN NIS`,
LET ME HAVE A LITTLE KISS.
JUST A KISS AND GO WITH ME
TO THE SUMMER LANDS THAT BE
DOWN WITHIN THE SILVER SEA.

KITTY WAS A LITTLE CHILD
BY THE MERMAN NIS` BEGUILED,
HAND IN HAND WITH HIM WENT SHE
DOWN IN TO THE DEEP DARK SEA.

OFT THE STORMY SEA WITH MER,
TO IT'S BOSOM FOLDED HER,
CLASPED AND KISSED THE LITTLE FORM
AND THE OCEAN'S HEART WAS WARM.

NOW IT'S WINTER ON THE SHORE,
WINTER, WINTER EVERMORE.
THOUGH IT TIS' SUMMER ON THE SEA.
WHERE WITH MERMAN NIS` WENT SHE,
OCEAN WET AND DARK AND WILD.

THE BEACH WHERE KITTY PLAYS NO MORE.

OF THE SUMMER ON THE DEEP
COME SWEET VISIONS IN MY SLEEP,
HER FAIR FACE LIFTS UP FROM THE SEA
HER DEAR VOICE CALLS OUT TO ME.
THESE MY DREAMS OF SUMMER BE.

CAPTURED SUMMER ON THE DEEP,

THERE IS A DIVER WHO WANTS TO CATCH KITTY-FEY,
BUT HE'LL NEVER CAPTURE HER IN MER-LAND

Kitty-Fey is an Empath! She just feels things! 
She has mental telepathy with loved ones too! 
Though often appearing dreamy, light and airy 
She is definitely not one to underestimate! 
She has a bright, timeless mind & spirit 
And a strong core and center of her being 
with a powerful subconscious mind! 
And she also has the dreams of the future! 
She is a gifted shapeshifter 
and can take almost any form! 
Although the kitty-ness of her face shines through, 
and this clue is nearly impossible to hide. 
With soft, pretty skin and strong muscles, 
an hour-glass figure in whatever size she becomes. 
She's usually found in her 

Cat-girl, White-Swan or Mermaid forms. 
Yet when feeling particularly playful, 
easily resorts to her watersprite, 
flower-sprite or pixie forms! 
She can have colourful wings like a butterfly 
and carry a little paintbrush & a little palette 
of colourful paints to play with. She has 
tiny little bells on her ankle bracelets and 
she loves to go barefoot. (and has a secret mark on one foot.)
She likes to wear eye-liner egyptian-cat style,
on her big-green, cat-like, almond shaped eyes
(Which further increases this enchanting cat-eyed effect.)
Kitty-Fey has a little baby nose and full sensuous lips
If one could see her, their first exclamation
might indeed be "she has a kitty-face!!"

She can mesmerize a human totally if they
spy her in her mermaid form-
And delight them with intrigue in her cat-people form.
In her Sprite or Pixie forms she would be nearly
impossible for a human to see at all!

Katja-Kitty-Fey gets into the most mischief
when she is prancing or flitting about
with Skye-Sylph or Swannia,
as a Pixie, Sprite, CatWoman or Swan-Woman!
They seem to escalate each others
mischievous antics. They can get to
giggling together so much,
that little laughing tears roll out of their eyes
and they can't seem to stop their tickle-giggle fit!
There's no use trying to stop them,
because trying to put on a straight face,
only makes them giggle all the harder!

Swannia
Swannia is one of Kitty-Fey's dearest friends.
She is a very sweet being,
intelligent and loving. She is also very dear
to Tigerman & Tigress-Leopardess Gardenia.
You can learn more about them in the Realm they share.
She will join in their adventures there and
also here in Merland with Kitty-Fey and the others.

Swannia also loves to come here to Merland to play!
Swannia shapeshifts into a Swan
& a Mermaid and a Watersprite!
I'll tell you more about her soon!
In her human-like form she is half Celtic, &
half Native American Indian.
She has long, beautiful raven coloured hair.
Her hair is black, straight, soft and silky.
(but her hair sometimes turns auburn golden-brown from the sun.)
Her eyes are hazel, olive-green with an amber-brown
burst of colour in the middle of the iris.
They are almond shaped,
with cute little epicanthic folds in the corners,
which adds to her exotic beauty in a special way.
Like herself, her eyes are warm, deep & very expressive!
She has golden- bronzed tan skin, a cute nose
& full pouty lips that smile sweetly.
She has a strong, wholesome, well-endowed body.
She loves to dance and sing! She is a spiritual
story-teller & record keeper. She does this with
pictures, words, song & dance.
She makes delightful dance costumes
and puts on plays and skits, to act out tales
for the children and the magical beings.
She adores children and is so good with them.
She has the nurturing and protective
and gently guiding attributes
of a loving mother. She is highly intuitive,
with great tender courage..
A gift of The Nature-Goddess.
She is in love with Tiger-Man,
who has been trying to win her gentle heart.
(Tiger-Man is the half-brother of her dear friend:
Tigress-Leopardess Gardenia.)

When Swannia wants to shapeshift 
she takes on her beautiful, graceful, gentle Swan form.
She can become the most lovely and rare Black Swan!
She can then slide her form into that of a Mermaid
if she chooses! As a mermaid, her hair becomes
so black that it appears as shiny blueish-black.
She is an image of such beauty that a glimpse
of her, could entrance a human completely.
When she is feeling a bit impish, 
she becomes a tiny Water-Sprite!
In this form she becomes
quite playful, giggly & mischievous (Tee-Hee,)
& she is nearly impossible for TigerMan to catch.
Her hair is turqoise, aqua & purple lavender.
Her skin turns a pretty blue like this background.
She is 2 inches tall with little dragon-fly like wings.
She carries a tiny feather to tickle others with.
She creates many antics while in this form.
She is a delight! We all love her.

A Warning About Enchanting Beings!

Most are sweet and loyal and warm.
and bring joys to those who win their favor!
But beware, least you fall from favor
(for the heart as open as a blooming flower,
once injured, closes harder than the most clenched fist.)
for most Fae-kith & Merfolk
do not take kindly to insults to their Mer. or Pixie-Pride
nor insults to their romantic vanity.
They also disdain being over-controlled 
or bossed about.
If you cross that line with one of these delightful creatures
Then like most of them would,
she too will harden her magical heart to you,
turn away with a tossing
of the hair on her pretty little head 
and make herself very scarce to you.
She might even run away from you,
And try as you may to catch her,
You might never get to see her again.
And there's no use denying it,
you'd soon come to miss her very much.

Merman

One of the wonderful Mermen who visit here in Mer-land
is named Tommy-Kat!
(You can also find him in Celtic Cool-Kats Realm.)
TommyKat is a Surfer in human form.

He has sunbleached hair and warm ocean-green hazel eyes.
He is a vegetarian with a healthy athletic body.
He designs and makes fantastic surf-boards.
He is one of the greatest surfers on earth
and rides in the tubes like no other!
He becomes one with the invigorating ocean,
nature and the healing vitality of life.
He sometimes lives in his sailboat,
sailing to tropical islands.
and befriending various beings, including porpoises!
This is how he was discovered by the magical beings
of the Emerald Forest Isle!
He is in touch with his Higher Self.
He is a Holistic Healer who teaches 
the art of massage therapy!
He has a rich, calm image!
Like the Green Man, The Celtic Father of Animals,
and husbandman to the great Mother Nature Goddess.

He who is the archetype of mature masculine energy
in balance with the natural world.
He has rebalanced away from the male-dominator image
to become a powerful loving masculine healing force!
Anyone who comes in contact with him benefits
