Where do Fae Travel From ?
Fae come from the Astral Realm
& the various realms they have established
(consisting of varying complexities)
in other levels of reality,
such as those they have established
in some areas of the Otherworld Realms.
The Fae travel to other realms & levels of reality,
(such as The Otherworld
& visits to our material world)
via The Astral Realm,
which covers all levels of reality!
The Astral Realm is also
sometimes called "The Astral Plane".
It is sometimes described as
"The Joining Realm",
or "Connecting Realm",
engulfing, covering & connecting ,
all other realms of reality / existence,
much like a psychic blanket
or mist overlying a concentric circle,
comprised of various bordering
levels or "dimensions" of realities.
In the very center of this concentric circle
is "The Source",
Believed to be the Loving Creative Energy
called "The Source"
from which all life emanates
as sparks of this divine energy.
(For lack of a better analogy or description.)
This is hard to explain in human words.
In our Fey-Merfolk Shamanic Faith
"The Source"
is also known as
"The Eternal Loving Shapeshifter".
because of these limitless attributes.
Or The Divine Couple,
Our Goddess & God as one.
The Source is Love.

Fae Unicorns can be most delightful!
As previously described:
the stronger the Fae's powers-
the clearer, larger & more complex
it can appear
in Unicorn form. Fae Unicorns
often appear to have wings
like the Teltum.
Teltum are also beautiful & wonderful
horse-like magical beings,
who have rainbow coloured feathers
on the outer fringes of their wings,
pretty long tails
& golden hooves!

Ballad of The Unicorns

I stood in May time meadows
By roses circled round,
Where many a fragile blossom
Was bright upon the ground

And as though the roses called them
And their wild hearts understood,
The little birds were singing
In shadows of the wood

The nightingale among them
Sang sweet & loud & long,
Until a louder voice than hers
Rang out above her song;
For suddenly, between the crags,
Along the narrow vale,
The echoes of a hunting horn
Came clear upon the gale.

The hunter stood beside me
Who blew that mighty horn;
I saw that he was hunting
The gentle unicorn-

But the unicorn is noble
They know their gentle birth,
They know that Nature
has chosen them
Amongst all beasts of earth.

But the unicorn is noble;
She keeps them safe & high
Upon a narrow path & steep
Climbing to the sky;
And there no man can take them
They scorn the hunter's dart
And only a faerie's magic power
Shall tame their haughty hearts.

What would be now the state of us
But for Fae Unicorns,
And what would be the fate of us,
Poor humans, lost, forlorn ?
Oh, may they lead us on & up,
Unworthy though we be,
Into the sweet Fae's Otherworlds
To dwell eternally

"Physical" Unicorns

In contrast to the Fae Unicorn,
The Natural Unicorn
has a solid physical form
& is said to be a species in of itself.
Because they are even more elusive
than the fae unicorn,
it has given rise to the theory that:
They possess great "magic"
which allows them to traverse
the Otherworlds & Astral & Physical Realms.
Whether what is called the Magical Unicorn
& the Physical Unicorn are one in the same,
is hard for us to say because of
overlapping of reports of siteings
in different levels of existance.
 

However from reports of those who
are said to have seen this type of Unicorn,
it is believed to be
more aggressive, territorial
& considerably less friendly
than the Fae Unicorn.

In all fairness,
(although well-documented throughout
mostly ancient history)
any physical earth-sightings of them
have been in such remote areas of earth,
nearly inaccessible to humans-
that it is difficult for others to validate.

They avoid humans & are reportedly embittered
over old human myths about killing them,
to steal their horns.
Nor do they have any interest
in human virgins.
This being an obvious sexual projection
from the minds of the human males
of the repressed times.
The only female, a male unicorn would desire,
would be one of his own species,
virgin or otherwise.
In Medieval times, It was also rumoured:
that if a unicorn dipped it's horn in any water,
it would have a purifying effect on the water,
(regardless of how contaminated it had
previously been made by other animals.)
Although there was never any reason to believe
this would work once the unicorn's horn had been
forcibly removed from it's living head
(or deceased one), this did not stop bounty-hunters
from trying to steal their horns for this purpose also!
Hunters flagrantly tried to
drive them into extinction,
with total disregard for their lives,
due to this greedy coveting
of their horn's many mythical powers.

Although it is sometimes reported
that they still exist,
in remote areas on earth,
they must use their natural powers to
hide
themselves quite well.


"Magical Unicorns" are most often described
as very beautiful with a
spiraling gold or silver horn
protruding from the center of their foreheads.
Their strong hooves
matching the colour of their horns.
With their general appearance of a beautiful
graceful necked horse
with a gorgeous & luxurious mane.
It's furious looking eyes
are sometimes reported as
appearing to look like burning embers.
The coat is most usually white
as the purest snow.
Yet their are some rare sightings of
black unicorns,
whose coats are so black-
that they appear as a dark blue-black.

They are sometimes pictured with wings
like like that of the flying horse.
(Although these may be Fae-Unicorns?)
Female Unicorns are rarely mentioned,
most likely
for the obvious reasons stated above.
Although it is rumoured
that they may also have horns,
which are however a little different
than the male unicorn's horn,
though no less magical or powerful.
It is hard to know for sure,
since they are said to be
even more shy of humans.
(Or just better at hiding?)
Thus sightings of them
are even more difficult to prove.

Considering that beautiful Wild Mustangs
once ran free all over
the North American Continent
("Turtle Island")
& were nearly driven into extinction
because they captured the admiration
& their power became a challenge
to try to harness -- it is not hard to
imagine that Unicorns could easily
have been subjected to a
similar experience with a different outcome.
Just think how close the mustangs came to
becoming a creature
who only lived in the memory,
only able to be reborn as sheer "myth"
in the hearts of subsequent generations
deprived of a first-hand glimpse
of their majestic beauty???????????

Which of us doesn't feel a taste
of strength & freedom upon seeing
a wild horse rear it's head & toss it's mane?
Yet it was this very admiration that made it a target,
for macho bravado to be objectified for conquest,
leading to it's near extinction,
like so many other creatures.
The bridle or death ?
Must all worth coveting
be conquered or destroyed?

Will we learn to honour Mother Nature ?

The current plight of so many
wild animals makes one wonder,
if they will have
"the close call"
of the Mustang,
or go the way of the Unicorn?

And will they be so friendly
when our time has come to go to
the Otherworld Realms
for more than just a visit?

Perhaps there weren't as many wild-life activists
when the Unicorn had it's golden hour to stomp
it's wild hooves in the land of the living.

Can we leave any wildlife for the children ?
Just as beautiful wild horses timelessly
hold both the endearment
& fascination of humans,
so eternally will the Unicorn.

The Unicorn, could it still be possible ??
Perhaps somewhere on earth still
hiding in some remote enclave ...........?
Nah. For the Unicorn's sake
Perhaps we should not know for sure......
