"Hell is the Absence of God"
[permanent link].
A fascinating and thoughtful story set in a world where angels and God
exists and can affect the mortal world. Angels can appear and work
miracles; but not without devestating effects. The story traces the
path of one man (and others who cross his path) who hates God, because
the appearance of an angel killed his wife. Yet he must learn to love
Him because it is the only way he can be reunited with his wife who
went to Heaven. And, in this world, Hell is, indeed, a place that
feels the absence of God.
