An interesting article about how scientist may have found an
interesting statistical phenomenon associated with volcanic eruptions;
some of them tend to occur in winter. While not definite, the
probably statistical link indicates that steady pressure, possibly
caused by snow or water building up over a lava chamber, may affect a
volcano. This contrasts with current studies of volcanoes that
concentrate on sudden changes that may affect a volcano.
