"Water, Green River, Daybreak" [permanent link]. An interesting story of fantasy set in a contemporary setting in Florida. An old woman who meets a young musician who becomes interested in her magical powers. This leads to a confrontation with other magicians who have different ideas on what kind of magic he should learn and how magic should be used.
