When two men of the Tuchuks meet each other, they often begin their conversation with the following formula:

Tuchuk #1: How are the bosk?
Tuchuk #2: As well as may be expected.
Tuchuk #1: Are the quivas sharp?
Tuchuk #2: One tries to keep them so.
Tuchuk #1: It is important to keep the axles of the wagons greased.
Tuchuk #2: Yes, I believe so.

At the conclusion of this ceremonial greeting, the Tuchuks clasp hands.
