Synopsis
In 1850, just after the loss of his wife, Professor Aisling
and his two young daughters climb aboard a magical ship
in which all the dreams of their imagination come true.
Throughout their journey on the Basset the Professor and
his children meet all the creatures of fantasy and myth
which they had begun to doubt.
In the tradition of Gulliver's Travels, Voyage of the Bassett
takes the reader on a fantastical journey of discovery through
120 pages of beautiful color illustrations. It brings together our
classical mythologoy and original characters for the perfect
story. I would recomend it to children and adults alike.
Hardcover book, 167 pages Authors: James C. Christensen, Renwick St. James, and Alan Dean Foster
