Synopsis
Take a trip to the realm of the Faerie. This book combines
handwritten text and type along with beautifull illustrations
to give you the full effect of the world of fae. Not only is it
informative by giving the reader descriptions of numerous
creatures of folklore, but each creature is drawn with a
realisticism worthy of museum display. This is definitely my
favorite faerie book around today, Brian Froud and Alan Lee
have out done themselves. If you have a love for the fae I
suggest you drop what you are doing and get this book now,
It is available in reprint at most any bookstore.

I had seen so many beautiful pictures of faeries on the web. I loved most of them
but there were a set that were my favorite. Those who were kind enough to give
credit said they were by Brian Froud and Alan Lee from the books Faeries. I
went to amazon and found out 'twas 20 dollars. That was an okay price. After
buying it I was delighted. The pictures are breathtaking. Most of the descriptions
are accurate. A beautiful, wonderful book! I recomend this book to
anyone
who loves faeries and even those who don't!

I was given the Brian Froud and Alan Lee "Faeries" book as a birthday present
last year. Obviously my love for faeries was known to my dear friend. I can only
continue to thank her... I look at it almost every night! The illustrations are mind
boggling, especially coming from an artist like myself. I am in a art and design school
and have yearned to be able to create works like theirs. Buy this book and I
garantee you will never regret it!!!
