Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book

Synopsis

This book is the dairy kept by Lady Cottington which was
supposed to be used to press flowers but she used it to press
fairies instead. Next to each smashed fairy is the description
of how she caught it. In the beginning she writes like a child
but as she grows and matures so does her handwriting and
her perception of the mischevious fairies.

This handsomely bound and unusual book is absolutely captivating,
you will find yourself giggling throughout. It includes wonderful
watercolor illustrations throughout the book. Monty Python's Terry
Jones has done an elaborate job in capturing the mind of lovely Lady
Cottington after he 'discovered' her diary. I would definetly recomm end
that everyone read this book but especially those fairy lovers out there.
The publisher (at the request of the Royal Society for the Prevention
of Cruelty to Fairies) notes that no fairies were injured or killed in the
manufacturing process...

~wiping a tear of laughter from her eye~
That was the single most delightful book I have ever read.
I think I laughed from the moment I opened the book and
saw that cute little bookmark, to the last smushed little fay.
What a trip down fantasy lane. I would recomend this book
to anyone fairy lover or not, there is much enjoyment in this
type of book. Blessed be and good hunting ~winking~

Apparently, Lady Cottington's is not as difficult to find in Canada and
the U.K. due to a different publisher who is not "out of stock." I
recently purchased Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book and Lady
Cottington's Pressed Fairy Journal from www.themagicalblend.com
in Montreal. The price was fantastic due to the exchange rate and
they were extraordinarily efficient and courteous. They answered my
e-mails quickly and I received my order within a week after I placed
it. Both book are positively charming and a must for anyone who believes
in faeries.
