Sarah, played by Jennifer Connelly, is a fiesty fifteen-year old teenager who wishes her baby brother to be taken away by goblins and to her surprise that wish comes true. Now she must conquer the Labyrinth in order to rescue him from the Goblin King.

Jareth, played by David Bowie, is the Goblin King, who can work magic and change time. He has granted Sarah's wish for the goblins to take her baby brother yet, he finds his love for Sarah reluctantly growing and will do almost anything for her.

Hoggle, voice done by Brian Henson, is someone who Sarah meets just ouside the Labyrinth. He is a villianous little creature with a love for jewels, who appears to be working for Jareth. In the end though Hoggle comes through for Sarah.

Ludo, Voice done by Ron Mueck, is a large, hairy, lovable creature that Sarah saves from being beaten by goblins in the Labyrinth. Ludo accompanies and helps Sarah throughout her journey.

Sir Didymus, voice done by David Shaughnessy, is a valiant little creature who Sarah meets in the bog of eternal stench. He has a little dog named ambrosious as his trusty steed. He also helps Sarah through her journey and has a heart as big as a knight though he is only two feet tall.

Toby, played by Toby Froud, is Sarah's one-year old half-brother who, upon Sarah's mistaken wish is captured by the goblins of the Labyrinth.
