Chameleon

Totem

Characteristics: Chameleon is a reclusive hunter, hiding in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to make his move. Chameleon rarely moves openly, preferring stealth and subterfuge to blatant attack. Chameleon is a planner. He will rarely move without planning, but he is also flexible, realising that sometimes things will not go as planned. Often, Chameleon will plan out multiple contingencies for just such an occurrence. Chameleon is not one to waste opportunity and may strike before his plan comes to full fruition, if conditions work to his advantage in such a way. Chameleon will not draw attention to himself, unless dire circumstances demand it.

Favored Environment: Forest or Jungle

Advantages: +2 dice for Illusion spells, +2 dice for Detection spells, +2 dice for summoning Forest or Jungle spirits (shaman's choice)

Disadvantages: A Chameleon shaman rarely draws attention to himself, often content to simply fit in and be ignored. A Chameleon shaman must have at least 2 points allocated for Stealth at character creation. The Chameleon shaman is subject to a +2 to the target number of any action which might give him away, unless the action is the reason he is hiding in the first place, ie sniping from a concealed position to assassinate a target.
