BORN Rochester, NY USA
HEIGHT a little over 5feet 5inches

FAVORITE WORD too many to choose from....faydayeen was a word I came across in a Linguistics class. It's an Arabic word meaning holy warrior, I think. I like when words come together to bring an image to mind so strongly you can see it around you, or when you can feel and understand what the writer is speaking of.
CROUTONS OR BACON BITS blech - neither
FAVORITE SALAD DRESSING it would have to be Seven Seas Viva Italian - mmm, nice n' spicee
DO YOU DRINK? I have to - the body is 97% water, don't you know
SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER both, otherwise I'd wake people up trying to brush my hair in the morning (Whose dying?! What happened?!!) :)
HAVE YOU EVER GONE SKINNY DIPPING? nope
WHAT'S YOUR STAR SIGN? Aries, the ram
DO YOU MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE? Yes, I must say so, though usually only in teasing and hopefully not in a way that would sting
FAVORITE COLOR-s blue, green and brown
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN CONVICTED OF A CRIME? Not by a court of law
ONE PILLOW OR TWO? COTTON OR FEATHER? One cotton pillow and sometimes none
PETS Ariel, named after the trapped spirit in Shakespeare's "The Tempest", was a a blue merle collie/english shephard mix. She was 6 months younger than me, so I don't remember when she first came to us - she was 15 years old when she died. Soon after that we "adopted" a stray cat who took a liking to Ariel's dog house and she became our cat-Mandu (say it fast and you'll realize how far out there we are). Unfortunately after about 3 years with us she died of the feline form of AIDS. My brother and I both had hamsters and gerbils over the years - I think Homer (before I knew about the town, really!!) was there the longest. Now my parents have 2 young cats - Snuff (think black panther in miniature) and Tinuviel [the fluffy one]
FAVORITE TYPE(S) OF MUSIC kind of depends on the day or hour. I like almost everything from classical to modern rock, though definitely NOT heavy metal. Somehow the screaming just gets to me. Oh, and Ledi always laughs when I start singing along to Oldies radio since I know most of the songs.
[circa 2004: lately listening to a lot of Christian Celtic folk rock music]
FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME sorry, too hard a question, and I'm sure you don't want a list five pages long!
FAVORITE TOOTHPASTE it's gotta be Crest Tartar control mint paste
FAVORITE FOOD that too is subject to change. I can be very much a meat and potatoes kind of person, but I also like lots of other stuff - pasta, oriental food . . .
DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR PARENTS? Yes, even when I don't it's only because I'm being stubborn - when I get over my pride I usually realize they're right anyway.
DO YOU GET ALONG WITH YOUR SIBLINGS? Yup - I only have one sibling rival, and he's older, so now that we're both older we usually find ourselves on the same side of things
[circa 2004: have a sister(-in-law) who I admire quite a bit!]
DREAM VEHICLE don't have one.
WHAT TYPE OF CAR DO YOU DRIVE NOW? When I'm home I usually drive my mom's Volvo - it's a manual, so it's more fun, but my dad's Dodge Caravan is okay too. [circa 2004: 1990 Toyota Camry, red :)]
WHAT TYPE OF CAR WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? Don't have one, have never had one, not likely to get one in the near future so I really couldn't tell you [1992 Mitsubishi Mirage]
FAVORITE TOWN TO CHILL IN hmmm...Aberystwyth, Wales is always a fun place to hang out. :)
FAVORITE ICECREAM Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream, or Lemon Sherbert
FAVORITE SOFT DRINK it depends, but I love fruit Smoothies, so those have to be somewhere near the top of the list
FAVORITE TYPE OF FAMILY GAME TO PLAY ...I'm not sure...basically anything when you get everybody into it. When I was younger we used to play Trivial Pursuit at my aunt and uncle's - my dad against everyone else (all 9 of us) and he would still win
WHAT IS YOUR BAD TIME OF DAY? Probably morning if I haven't gotten enough sleep, just ask my dad...or maybe...don't ask him :)
ADIDAS, NIKE OR REEBOK? Right now I have Adidas since Nike stopped making Air Pegasus.
[circa 2004: Saucony trail running shoes for roaming the wild!]
FAVORITE PERFUME/COLOGNE fresh air, God given!
FAVORITE WEB SITE too many of them to mention really. I like going to friends' websites to find out what they've been up to.
FAVORITE SUBJECT AT SCHOOL I'm not sure about that either (Teresa is never indecisive, really). It usually depended on the teacher or professor, though sometimes you could get over that. English usually went pretty well and Social Studies was either really interesting or naptime. In high school it was usually those two along with Studio Art and Choir. Last semester it was International Relations and this summer it's my class on the Middle East and the one on Old English
LEAST FAVORITE SUBJECT hmmm...in high school it was German, but that was because of the teacher [have since discovered this was likely more due to my attitude - ran into Herr Williams a few years ago and he was really nice!]. At this moment it's Statistics because I'm getting bored out of my mind in that class.
FAVORITE MOVIE YOU'VE SEEN RECENTLY OR FAVORITE TYPE OF MOVIE one of the really enjoyable ones was "Shakespeare in Love" - I laughed practically the whole way through. They had so many references to various plays he had written, sometimes in rather interesting ways, and it had the general feel of a Shakespearean play...though I've also heard some bad reviews of the movie's nature that I would tend to agree with as well.
FAVORITE BOOK that would take too long to answer, though I've started a list on my webpage. Some of my favorite writers are Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Susan Cooper, C.S. Lewis and I could go on for pages so I'll just stop there.
FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC DRINK --one that doesn't taste like alcohol...but then, what would be the point? let's just say I'm not exactly a wine connoisseur
FAVORITE SPORT TO WATCH primal sabre fencing (long story), a good foil fencing bout, ice hockey, rugby, soccer, horse racing, and, of course, Utica College Intramural floor hockey!
MOST HUMILIATING MOMENT I've blocked it out - I simply can't remember, though it could possibly be when we were at my aunt's house for Christmas (probably 9 years ago at least) and I started singing Jingle Bell Rock in the bathroom. When I came out everyone was staring at me from the table (I didn't know they could hear me!) and my cousin Jamie started applauding.
CRAZIEST OR SILLIEST PERSON YOU KNOW the craziest has got to be Fencing Matt (just to clarify "which one") - who else would walk [casually] through a blizzard in shorts (I've seen him wear trousers once!), or continue fencing when he's hopping on one leg because the other will no longer support him (and he STILL beat me!)?
the silliest might be Misty for reasons unexplainable, unless you've met her.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A PARTNER? Wait, let me get the list out, it's a long one. :) just kidding. Three of the most important things are that he be a Christian, have a good sense of humor and possess the ability to think, which is unfortunately far more rare than it should be :) But I don't really look. I guess things will fall into place when they fall into place
SAY ONE NICE THING ABOUT THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU well, since I can't remember who I received it from first I'll just mention everybody
Mary Lou is one of the sweetest people I know, and she's got a great sense of humor to go along with it.
Tonya Sue is an amazingly talented writer and a great listener to say the least. She has these amazing insights sometimes about people and the reasons they do what they do...
Tim can get me laughing one minute and thinking seriously about the most specific idea the next... and that's all in plain text. Just watch out when there's a full moon though. :)
Barnsey is a very encouraging person and a great neighbor. She works hard, despite the fact that we've been pushing the procrastination thing on her, and I know she'll go far whether she's holding a basketball or a pen.
Mark Y. can get a bit wild sometimes, but most of the time he means well. He can be a really considerate person and has taught me a lot about patience in the past 2 years...oh and then there's the bit he taught be about dodging - aka "I've been fencing sabre, but now I'm going back to foil so you'll have to excuse me if your leg swells up and turns funky colors after practice." :)
PERSON YOU SEND THIS TO WHO IS LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND Misty - I don't think I've ever gotten one e-mail in reply **sniff**, but then I see her practically every day for most of the year, so I suppose I can forgive her. :)
PERSON YOU SEND THIS TO WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND Hmm...Ledia maybe.

Thanks for visiting, friend. -t
