>that was…"  He looked over his shoulder to try and see where the 
>runt landed.

>     "Look, it's been fun.  I needed some more practice, but I 
>really must be going now…" he said, bringing his arm up and shooting

>     The girl dodged it, but a bit of the blast hit her in the arm 
>and knocked her onto the ground.

>     "WHAT DID…" Ryoko started, but she was cut off by the man in 
>the black coat.
>     "Look, it's been fun.  I needed some more practice," he

>     "But I really must be going now…" he finished, bringing his arm

>     *Think quick.*
>     Ryoko tried to dodge out of the way, but the blast hit her arm. 
>She fell to the ground, clutching her arm.
>     "Been fun…" he said.
>     Ryoko looked up and found the man standing over her, pointing a 
>gun to her head.
>     *No…*

>     He pointed the gun to her head.  The assassin wasn't as good as 
>some of the other one's they've sent.
>     *Well, the other one was a bit more challenging.  Singed my 
>eyebrows…*
>     Just then, the gun seemed to weight a ton.
>     "Agh…"
>     He dropped the gun and it landed next to the assassin.

>     Ryoko closed her eyes, waiting for the bullet to fire.
>     CLANG!
>     Ryoko opened her eyes and saw the man shaking his hand.  She 
>turned to her left and saw the gun next to her.
>     In one quick move, she jumped to her feet and performed a 
>roundhouse, half-expecting him to block it and punch her again.
>     To her surprise, it contacted his head and he fell to the 
>ground.
>     She bent down next to him, surprised that he just didn't shake 
>it off.  He was still conscious.
>     "Wha…what…the hell…just hap…" he started to say, then blacked 
>out.
>     "What did happen?" Ryoko muttered to herself.
>     Ryoko gathered the man's gun, and picked up the man, carrying 
>him back to Ukyou's restaurant.

>     Ryoko turned and saw Happosai jumping at her.
>     "Come here you pervert!"  Ranma snatched Happosai before he 
>could latch onto her chest.
>     "AH!" Happosai started to laugh.
>     "What's so funny?"
>     "Him!  I said he'd pay!" Happosai laughed.
>     "Who's he…Wait!  That's that guy!" Ranma started to reach for the 
>man, but Ryoko turned.
>     "Leave him alone! Happosai must have done something to him…" 
>Ryoko said, looking down at the man.  "He was holding Ukyou 
>hostage…" Ryoko started to say.
>     "Than didn't he deserve it?" Ranma said.  "Wait a sec.  When 
>did you get back into town?"
>     "Just today.  When I went to see Ukyou, this guy pointed a gun 
>at me!  I started to fight him, then Ryouga came along…" Ryoko told 
>Ranma what had happened as they walked back to the restaurant.

>     *Are they gone?* Ukyou thought.  *He hasn't returned yet…I hope 
>nothing happened to him…*
>     KNOCK!
>     *The door…*

>     Ranma knocked on the door.  When no one answered, he just 
>opened it.
>     *Spatula!*
>     A giant spatula was being swung at him.  He held up Happosai, 
>and the giant kitchen tool whacked Happosai, knocking him out.
>     "Ranma!" Ukyou said surprised.  "Ryoko!"

>     After Ukyou greeted the two, Ryoko and Ranma explained what 
>had happened.
>     "The Ultimate Weakness Moxibustion!" Happosai laughed from 
>under his gag.
>     "So, he thought we were…" Ryoko started.
>     "ASSASSINS!" came a voice from the couch.  The man jumped up 
>and grabbed a chair.  He raised it, but fell backwards.
>     "No!  This is my sister!" Ukyou said, running over to the man.
>     After Ukyou explained everything to the man, he just nodded.
>     "So is there a cure for this?" he asked.
>     "Yes…" Ukyou said with hesitation.
>     "HAHAHAHA!" Happosai laughed.
>"SHUT UP!" the man yelled, shooting an energy beam at the tied up 
>Happosai.
>     *That shut him up…* Ryoko thought.
>     "…But…" the man said, eyeing Ukyou.
>     "Cologne has it…" Ukyou said.
>     "Well, what are we waiting for, let's go get it!" the man said, 
>sitting up.
>     "It's not that easy…" Ukyou started to explain.

>     "You can't go alone!" Ukyou ran after the man.
>     "Well, she won't help you, so I'll have to go alone then," he 
>said, packing his car.
>     "But your as strong as a baby!  You can't hope to get there by 
>yourself…" Ukyou said.
>     "Well who's going to go with me?  You can't. I don't think 
>anyone else would want to…"
>     "I could…" Ranma spoke out.
>     "Even after I tried to kill two of your friends?"
>     "One…" Ranma said.  "…But that's all right.  You can't make it 
>on your own, and no one else can help…"
>     "What about your sister?" he asked Ukyou.  "Does Cologne not 
>like her either?"
>     "Well…I don't know…" Ukyou pondered.
>     Ryoko walked up to the three.
>     "What do you say Ryoko.  Want to come along?" he asked.
