He stepped out of his car and pulled out his two handguns. His first two anyway. As he stepped up to the front door, he noticed Scimitar stepping out of the car. When he entered the factory, he noticed right away where the labs were. Downstairs. The main floor was the usual front. A factory for manufacturing pharmaceutical products. Usually he didn’t harm the scientists in the fronts. They had no idea what Umbrella was all about. He heard something from outside. It sounded like Scimitar. *Oh well. Between him and Mewtwo, they could probably take on most of the Umbrella goons running around. Well, better get going…* “KAMEHAMEHA!” A big gaping hole was in the floor. Dropping down, he pointed his guns around, ready to shoot anything unusual. He was in a long hall. At the end was what looked like a laboratory. Each side of the hall had about six doors. Looking behind him, he saw what looked like a reinforced door. He headed for the lab. Gordon polished his sword as he waited. Soon enough, Mr. Habishi showed up. "What do you want?" "Noname-san is coming. I need access to your facilities, so I can set up a trap." "You were hired to kill him before he attacked our labs!" "Is that what the agreement was?" He asked, a bit confused as he tried to remember exactly what was said. "Forget it!" He muttered. "Here!" He handed Gordon a black card. "It's a level two security card. It'll get you into the outer levels of the lab. Just don't touch anything." "Alright. No prob." He smiled as he snatched the card and walked away. "C'mon, Zel. We've got work to do." "Ivysaur." As he headed to the lab, a guard popped out from one of the doors behind him. *BAM* He dodged out of the way and fired back. *BAM* Getting back up, he headed back for the lab. *There’s no one here…* When he entered the lab, the first thing he noticed was that no one was in there. Umbrella always had at least one person working there. *Shit, it’s got to be a trap. But where?* He cautiously walked to ward the computer and turned it on. -Please enter password now- “Shit, this again…” *BAM* He shot the computer. Turning to the left, he noticed a piece of paper. *Idiots…* On it was a security password. He walked up to another computer and turned it on. He punched in the password and saw one file on the screen. -CLAIRE.EXE- “What the…” He saved the file to a disk and put it into one of his pockets. Gordon slid away the notes and papers he was studying as he heard the gun shot. He tensed himself. "Zelgadis. Hide. You know the plan." "Saur!" Gordon tensed as he drew back the string of an imaginary bow. "Freeze..." The reinforced door slid open. "Arrow!" Blades of ice shot forward at the unnamed intruder. He exited the lab and another goon popped out from another door. *BAM* The goon didn’t even have time to react. As the corpse hit the ground, a door down the hall opened up and…SOMETHING…came shooting at him. *Crappy…* He jumped into the door the goon came from and saw whatever it was sail by. *That definitely wasn’t a bullet…* He put away the two handguns and pulled out a shotgun and two grenades. He checked to make sure the shotgun was loaded, the pulled the pins on the grenades and flung them down the hall. "Vaus Grad!" Gordon erected his shield just in time to block the blast of the grenades. He picked up his sword. "Ray Wing!" He cried as he leapt into the air. The wind caught him and carried him rapidly towards his opponent. As he approached he cut the spell, drawing his full attention towards the fight at hand. "You will die here, criminal! Prepare to be smashed by the hammer of Justice!" He yelled as he swung his sword. *What the hell is this guy on?* He moved out of the way of the sword swings fairly easily. *This isn’t like the other Umbrella agents. Maybe he’s from Chronos?* “What are you talking about ‘criminal’ and ‘hammer of justice’? You’re the one trying to kill me!” he said, firing the shotgun. Gordon dove out of the way of the shot. Some of the bullet's grazed his right arm, sending out sparks. "I will not let more innocents be harmed by your dark acts! Prepare for your divine punishment! Garv Flare!" Gordon raised his hands and launched a wave of fire. *SHIT!* The guy fired some…fire…from his hands. He barely had time to duck through the door to avoid it. *SHIT AGAIN!* He looked down at his coat, and noticed that it was in flames. He ripped off the coat and flung it to the floor. Looking next to the door, he saw a fire alarm. He pulled it and sprinklers started going off, putting out the flames on his coat. *What the hell is this guy talking about?* “You must have the wrong guy. I have NO idea WHAT the HELL you’re talking about…” He swung out into the hallway again. “KAMEHAMEHA!” He jumped back into the doorway again. It all happened in a blink of an eye. Gordon fretted as he saw the man hit the fire alarm. "Ice Lance!" He cried. The ice beam shot forth, freezing the pipes and stopping the water. "That was a close one," He sighed in relief. “KAMEHAMEHA!” Gordon looked up to see the energy blast zooming towards him. "But not as close as this." Gordon muttered as he leapt out of the way. The beam smashed into his shoulder launching him across the room, and shredding his jacket. "Ow." He groaned as he shook his head. There's a spell he didn't know. "You are the nameless one are you not?" He called out, waiting for the man to show himself again. "I have been hired to stop your criminal ways!" *Nameless one? That’s what Chronos is calling me? Wait a second…if he’s with Chronos, then why was he fighting the Zoanoids?* He cupped his hands together and started focusing his energy for a larger blast. “Who are you working for! Where’s your information from!” he shouted out the door. Gordon paused. Why was he asking such questions. "Shadow Snap." He whispered, the shadow knife forming in his hands. "Umbrella has informed me off your terrorist actions, and have hired me to bring you to justice!" Gordon tensed, ready to throw the blade should the chance show itself. *Typical. Umbrella can’t find any good fighters who’ll work for such a wretched company…* “Listen! They’re tricking you!” he shouted. “Have you ever heard of Raccoon city?” "Raccoon City..." Gordon scratched his head. "Hmm, sounds familiar. Oh! Wasn't it in the news?" “Ya. Remember what happened? The city burned to the ground. The whole city. Not a building was standing. That was no ‘accidental fire’ that some punk kid did. Why do you think Umbrella was doing the clean up? It was their factory that blew up! They make biological weapons for the highest bidder! Ever fight one of their monsters!” He was going to shout out some more on how Umbrella was the evil ones, but the other guy started shouting something. Gordon paled. *Monsters? They employ Monsters?* Gordon had never fought a Monster, but every record and journal he read stated about how horribly powerful they were. And Gordon had very few magic spells that would work. Could it be true? "Have you any proof of these claims?" *Seems like he’s starting to see…I might not have to kill him after all…* “You want proof! Look where you are! Would a real pharmacy company have a secret underground facility where they produced they viruses!” Gordon reached out and snagged a vial from the table. *I don't know much about business or anything, but the secret labs don't make much sense to me.* he thought examining the vial. " Habishi said I'd see some strange things but he didn't say what.* "How do I know these things are viruses?" *God, how am I going to prove to him that’s what it is without getting us infected or killed…* “Well, you could smash one of the vials, then in about an ten minutes you’d start getting a headache. Half an hour and you’d have an upset stomach. I won’t go into detail, but in an hour of contact with the virus, which is a level four biohazardous agent, you’d be turned into one! Or you go to the computers in the lab there and put in the right password and then you can access the files!” *Geez, doesn’t this guy get it? Most fighters have at least some common sense…* *Hmm, check the computers. That makes sense.* Gordon went to one of the terminals. He had chased the scientist out of here so fast that he hadn't logged off. "Let's see." With one eye on the door, and the other on the computer, he looked at the open text document. It read 10:05 Subject, human male, age 20, exposed to prototype chemical 10:14 Subject suffers minor headache, could be unrelated. 10:37 Subject complains about severe stomach pains. Relation seems likely. 11:02 Subject has degraded into a level three biohazard. 11:03 Subject terminated. Gordon's gloved hand smashed through the monitor. *Bastards! How dare they trick me! They'll learn better than to fool around with a Gabriev. Justice will prevail!* Sheathed of weapon and hands in the air, Gordon stepped into sight. "It appears you are correct. I offer my most sincere apologies, and my services in your noble quest." *Ok. Either he’s shitting me right now, or he’s found a computer…* “Now how do I know you’re telling me the truth?” "I give you my word of honor." "Not good enough." "I swear on the ancient ruins of Seyrun, I speak the truth." "Still not good enough." "The lost tomb of the Sorceress Lina Inverse?" "Nope." "The sword of my ancestors?" "Uh-uh." "The soul of my late fiancé?" *Pat…* He dissipated the large amount of energy he had in his hands, and slumped to the floor. *Bastards…* “KAIOKEN!” he shouted out, then he tensed his muscles as his body was surrounded in a blinking aura. “KAMEHAMEHA!” He shot the beam of energy straight at the lab where he had come from, opposite the ‘assassin’. "Vaus Grad!" Gordon's shield flashed into being. The energy blast smashed into the shield. The shield held for a second before the energy shattered it, sending Gordon crashing through a pane of glass. Gordon smashed into the wall, shaking a shelf above him. "Damnit! What the hell's up with that guy. Ahh!" Gordon freaked out as he saw several of the chemicals teetering at the edge of the shelf. He scrambled around in a mad dash, catching everyone of them. His arms full of fragile vials of deadly viruses, he desperately looked for a place to put them down. *Pat…* He fell to the ground, exhausted. If he kept the kaioken going any longer and he’d of died. It was probably the most exhausting move he knew. The blast against the lab sent the energy surging through the halls. The former assassin probably got thrown back. *Pat…* In one brief fleeting moment, he pictured Pat standing before him, then he blacked out. One by one, Gordon carefully set the vials down in a test tube rack. "Ivy?" Gordon fumbled the last vial for several seconds before gaining control of it. With shaking hands he put it in the rack. "Don't do that, Zel!" "Saur...Ivysaur." Gordon looked out to where Zelgadis was examining the passed out form of the nameless warrior, his whips ready to strike, should he try anything. "This guys a real basket case." Gordon mused. "Still, he seems to be on the right side. Zel, ready your sleep powder. Hey, wake up." He said, gently slapping the passed out warrior. “Huh?” He opened his tired eye to see the face of, what must have been, the ‘assassin’. “Wha…?” He jumped up, startled, but then relaxed. *If he really wanted to kill me, he would have done it while I was passed out.* He looked at the Ivysaur. “Hello.” *Nice choice of words…* "Are you feeling alright? You're acting awfully weird, even for a guy who has no name." “Look, I’m not in the greatest of moods right now, so either get out of here before the light show, or stay close to me…” he said as he walked to the reinforced door. "I have done a great disservice, and I must redeem myself. Besides I must bring justice and teach these sinners not to take the name of Gabriev lightly. My blade, my skills, my Ivysaur, are all at your service.” “Um…good. Just be careful. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out you’ve never tangled with Umbrella before…” With that, he let loose another blast. “KAMEHAMEHA!” The reinforced door was no more, and behind it was a site he didn’t want to see. Looking up, he realized he should have read the sign first. -Re3 feeding pen- “Well, here’s the mon…” *BAM* “…sters.” "Stand back!" Gordon commanded. "Elmekia Lance!" white energy gathered at his fingers and he let it fly towards the monstrosities before them. The blast collided with them with no noticeable impact. "I thought you said these were monsters?" *BAM* “Well they are! Just look at them!” *BAM* “Biological weapons! *BAM* White Umbrella makes them…” *BAM* “…and sells them to the highest bidder!” He dropped the handgun and pulled out his sword. “This is a much faster way…” Gordon whipped out his sword, and joined in the battle. "A Monster..." A swing took off one of there heads. "Cannot be 'made'..." Gordon impaled another. "They are beings from another dimension... Flame Arrow." One screamed as it burst into flames. "And as such, cannot be hurt by physical weapons." One of the Re3s screamed in agony as the sword cleaved it’s arm off, then was silenced as the sword came back down on it’s head. “What the hell are you talking abou…” *He’s one of them…* As with almost everything that reminds him of his past life, images started flashing through his mind. Images of a time three years ago… It’d been a few years since that day he buried Pat, but the thought was always there. Always haunting him. “Stop right there!” He turned around and saw a girl, about sixteen years old. “Hand over your money and you shall live!” It was his first time in Japan, and he didn’t like it. Too many weirdoes. “And what, pray-tell, will you do if I don’t?” “Demona Crystal!” Ice started forming on the ground and sped at him. He was frozen in ice. “That should teach him about messing with a sorceress!” “KAIOKEN!” *SMASH* In one fast motion, he broke out of the ice and punched the sorceress, sending her flying over the horizon. His vision changed, this time only two years ago. “Out of my way! I need the bible so that I may liberate this island from the monster!” Before him was a male, early teens. The boy had been telling him about the unholy demon that was tearing up the city. One that could not be harmed by earthly weapons… He paused in the fight, thinking. “You’re a sorcerer…” Gordon paused. A mistake, he soon realized, as he nearly got impaled by one of the creatures sharp tongue's. He slashed off the creature's tongue, and then hurled it into another one. "You've met others?" He ducked as an Re3 came sailing towards him. “Two. One female, one male.” He slashed the one that had jumped over his head. “Let’s not talk about it for now. Kill these…creatures, get Scimitar, and get the hell out of here…”
