*This is ridiculous! Why would Umbrella have so many damn Lickers!* “So, tell me, who’s this ‘Scimitar’?” Gordon asked in between slices. “A person who’s also in here helping…In another section. The guy at the tent.” “Ah…” *This is taking far too long…* “Scyther!” he called out. In the blink of an eye Scyther came out of his Pokéball from his waist and hacked at the Re3s. “Ok, that’s everyone on this floor…and the one below…and the one below that one…and…” Scimitar was going over in his head what rooms they’d been in when Mewtwo interrupted. //We’ve been everywhere but the basement. Maybe we should go check on ‘him’. Looks like he just let out his Scyther. Maybe he’s having problems…// “So where ARE we going?” Kailan called out to Ryoko as they ran. “Just a little out of town. Actually I don’t know how far it is…but it can’t be much farth…” Ryoko stopped mid-sentence when she glanced at the sign just outside of town. *Umbrella Inc. factory. 40 miles North.* Ryoko stopped running and looked around. Kailan stopped right behind her. “What are you looking for now?” “That…” Ryoko said, sprinting for a parked car beside a building. “Mr. Trent waiting to see you sir.” “Let him in…” The secretary turned from the intercom and looked at Trent, then buzzed him into Weber’s office. “You wanted to see me, sir…” “The ‘project’ didn’t work. Chronos has put us behind millions just for that one clone that can’t beat that Sayian…” “But that isn’t that much…” “For us, no, but for Chronos it is. Now I can see why they went bankrupt. Us on the other hand…we created the ultimate weapon…” “Unfortunately it’s not on our side.” “That is true. Not even two can beat him…not even when he’s weak…” “It was unfortunate that we assumed that because of the few defects that it wasn’t going to be as strong…” //They’re behind that door.// “Ok, stand back…” //Don’t have to tell me that…/ Scimitar gave Mewtwo a grin, then turned to the door. “Well, there’s his car…that there’s a mass of…and there’s no one around…” Ryoko and Kailan walked up to the front door, no one around. “…and there’s a hole in the floor…” “Ok, that’s it…” He looked over to Gordon, who was examining the Lickers. *Shit…* “PROJECT FIVE FORTY-SIX!” he blurted out. “What?” “Project five forty-six! That’s why!” he said, running to the door. “What’s wh…” Gordon was silenced when the other door blew in, and when the dust settled, in walked Scimitar and Mewtwo. “Finally got down here I see…” he said. Scimitar seemed to be examining the Re3s on the ground. “They’re Re3s. Otherwise known as ‘Lickers’. Nasty things, but easy to beat…” he said. Scimitar poked his foot at one of the arms and said, “Aww, I missed out on Umbrella's mutants. Dang, it was going to be my first time with those.” “WHAT THE…!” He spun around to face the other door and noticed Ryoko standing in the door frame looking at the mess on the floor. Standing beside her was a guy from the tournament. When he looked back at Ryoko, he noticed she was wearing a robe…nothing else… “Anyway…I’m guessing you checked the rest of the factory?” he asked Scimitar. “Ya…nothing else…” Scimitar replied looking in Gordon’s direction. “Oh, right. Almost forgot. Scimitar, Gordon. Gordon, Scimitar. Gordon, Mewtwo. Mewtwo, G…” //I get the point…// “Ok, good…” he turned and looked at the other guy. “Hello.” “Hi…I’m Kailan…” “Hi. I’m…um…me, and this is Gordon, Scimitar and Mewtwo…” The three waved as he said their names. Ryoko looked down at her feet, then noticed she was wearing just a robe as well. “Almost forgot…Scyther, return…” he said to Scyther. “Scythe…” Scyther said, then returned to his Pokéball. “What’s project five forty-six?” Gordon asked. “Five forty-six! Almost forgot that too!” he said, bolting for the door Kailan and Ryoko were standing in, then zipping by them to one of the labs with a computer. //Five forty-six?// “Ya, he just blurted it out and then you came in…” Gordon informed everyone as they ran after noname guy. “We’re all dead…” Gordon could hear coming from the room nameless bolted into. “Sure doesn’t feel like it…” Scimitar commented. “No, project five forty-six…” nameless said, reaching into one of his coat pockets. “What’s project five forty-six?” Ryoko asked from behind Gordon. “No time to explain now. Let’s just finish clearing out the second level of the basement, then we can blow this place to hell…” nameless said, placing a small device on the computer that he had pulled from his pocket. “What’s that?” Gordon asked. “No time to explain that either. We need to finish with this location then move on to the next…” nameless said, running out of the room and into the next. Before Gordon could run after him, he heard an explosion. When he looked into the next room, he saw that noname had blown a whole in the floor and was jumping down. Everyone else was running into the room as well to see what had happened.
