Into the woods - The back pounced repeatedly on Azel's back like a reminder as she ran into the woods. She had been on her way to the factory Scimitar and Ranma had talked about earlier when she saw... something... fall out of the sky. And the something looked alive. Hopefully, it would remain alive. That is, hopefully it would remain alive if it wasn't dangerous. *The woods are certainly alive at night...* Branches appeared to be everywhere and shadows fell without a cause all over the slightly moonlit forest. The forest was nearly silent, with the occasional owl hooting in the darkness, causing Azel to jump in surprise. Used to continous plains, the site of such an eerie looking forest almost made her want to turn back. *But if you turn back now, when will you ever go fowards? Will you turn back to your family? Will you turn back away from pokemon? Will you turn away again?* So she continued onward, looking hopefully for some sight of the creature. Almost as if it heard her call, a light appeared to her right. She tripped and scrabbled over some bushes to arrive at the light... which by now was pitch dark. The source of the light was completely gone, leaving not a trace. No burned spots, no fashlights, no torches, no spelled orbs... nothing. Nothing that was, except for the heap that might be a creature on the forest ground. Quickly Azel set her kit down and looked at the creature. She lit a latern from her backpack and set it down beside her to shed some light. Something within her cried for a bit more caution, but she had gone to far to be silly with such things now. Upon consideration and observation, she inferred that the creature was a man, and he had fallen from a great distance before landing. Also, not only was he broken and bleeding, he appeared almost to be depleted. *It almost appears that if he weren't so depleted, he'd be able to heal himself, if such a thing was possible. Perhaps it is. Well, the fastest way to help him would to be to tend his wounds so that he can regain energy.* She pulled out some bandages and cleaning solution and began to wrap up his arm. In the distance she heared a group moving around in the forest and a man consoling them by telling them that "he must be around here! I saw him go down...". Realizing they were most likely talking about the mysterious patient she was tending, she yelled out to them. "Um, excuse me? Is this your friend over here?" She realized how silly it sounded... but on a night like this, her mind really wasn't on what she was saying. Cries from the group indicated that most likely, the patient was a friend of theirs. Azel grinned and continued to bandage the man's arm. *He'll probably be alright, even concerning the distance he must have fallen. Maybe it would serve him a lesson. Don't do... whatever the heck he was doing.* With that thought on her mind, she grinned and didn't even jump as anoter bird took off at the arrival of the man's group.
