I had some spare time, so I thought I'd skim something off the top of my head that didn't have to much to do with the overall plot, and just write something that maybe someone else could use. "Is that all you're gonna eat?" Nabiki quirked. "The temperature today is perfect." Betamu replied as she bit down on an apricot. "But it's... I don't understand." "And I don't think you'd get it even if I explained it to you." Nabiki's face displayed a cross expression making her irritation with Betamu's response quite obvious. "Well you said someone is after you, can't you at least explain that?" "Of course, the guild is after me." "Guild?" *Remember, they don't know about the guild* "Oh sorry," Betamu crammed the last bit of her apricot into her mouth, "the Hunter's Guild, bounty hunters." "You mean you have a bounty on your head?" Betamu leaned back, "Yup," she paused and glanced about for a second, "So where are these mighty fighters you train?" "Oh... them... well Ranma probably went to take a bath, and Akane is out back practicing." "Practicing what?" "Martial arts." Nabiki crammed a small roll into her mouth. "Wow, I haven't met any martial artists yet. Can I see her?" Nabiki leaned back, "I don't care, it's up to her really." Betamu stood up, "Thanks," and walked out towards the back of the Dojo, passing by Mr. Panda who was sleeping in the halls. She crept towards the door and slid it open a bit as to observe Akane. She was still stretching, flopped down and touching her toes. *That doesn't look like a powerful fighting technique to me.* *Shut up Eve, how would you know anyway.* Betamu wrapped her fingers around the edge of the door and slid it open. Akane looked up, "Who are you?" "I'm Betamu, what are you doing?" Akane stood up, "And which spring did you fall in at Jusenkyo?" "What?" Betamu looked puzzled. *Eve, where is this Jusenkyo place* *Give me a second* "The springs... nevermind." "What were you doing, I thought you were practicing." "I haven't started yet, I was stretching," Akane snapped back with an irritated look. "Well can I watch you?" "Why do you care about me, wouldn't you rather watch Ranma?" "No." Betamu replied with a smile. *Betamu, I can't find this Jusenkyo place on any of my maps, how... dissappointing, I thought my maps were complete.* Akane paused for a moment, and then smiled "Well then I guess you can watch." << About twenty-five minutes later >> "Your really strong Akane." Betamu stood up. "Yeah but I'm not strong enough." "What do you mean? I don't think I've seen many people stronger than you, certainly not around here." "I still can't beat Shampoo or Ranma." "Why not?" Akane looked particularly annoyed, "I just can't, they're better than me." "Surprise is the key to victory, do something they've never seen." "I can't, they've seen all my moves, I don't know of any techniques like the ones Ranma can do." "I can teach you some of my moves," Betamu moved over by Akane, towering almost 18-20 inches taller than her, "I know a lot of moves which use my opponent's superior size to my advantage." "And I can use these moves to defeat Shampoo?" "Probably." "I have to have someone to demonstrate on though," Betamu looked around, "You're to small, I need someone bigger than me to show you." It seemed to come to both of them almost simultaneously and they looked at each other, "Mr. Panda!"
