The Amber Chronicles consist of ten books which are divided in two groups:

To date, the first two books have been translated and the translation of the third one will be soon completed. The first two novels, Nine Princes in Amber and Guns of Avalon have already been published, so you can find them at any bookstore of your area! Click on the relative names at the above table, to see the covers of the books.

Note! This page is by no means a commercial presentation, nor is it our intention to promote the sales of the books in Greece. Besides, this would be contrary to the guidelines of Geocities.com which has granted us this page. It was created by us, the translators, with one sole purpose: To inform the visitor of the existence of the books and (as you'll discover later) it provides specified directions and detailed information about these science fiction novels by Roger Zelazny.

Who are we?

Apostolis Rountis and Christine Papadopoulou have put a lot of time, effort, care and passion in the translation so that the Greek reader will have a chance to enjoy and love the Chronicles as much as their translators.

Something new for the Greek readers!

With the launching of the first book in the Greek market, we proudly present a breakthrough novelty for the Greek sci-fi readers (and not only). We have created a mailing list whose function is to give the subscribers a chance to have their questions answered and to chat about subjects of their interest. So, a reader who has read the books and has some queries about the plot or wants to analyze a certain point can join the list and exchange messages with us or with other subscribers and at the same time, the reader can come in touch with people who have read the books and share the same interest.

Is there anything else except the ten books?

The Amber chronicles have been read and loved by thousands of people around the world. One of them, Erick Wujcik, a personal friend of Roger Zelazny, created a role playing game based upon the plot of the first five books, The Amber Diceless Role Playing Game (ADRPG), which we are planning to translate and publish in Greece soon after the publication of the first five novels.
