Who is Mark Anderson? Thanks for the intro Mav. As you may have guessed, I’m the guy behind Mavik and his family. I’ve actually created quite a few characters and personas over the years but that’s not why you came to this page, is it. First of all, my name is Mark Frederick Anderson. I was named after St. Mark and my father, Frederick Anderson. I spent my early years growing up in Murray, UT. and later in Sandy, Utah. I don’t live there any more but my folks still live in the same house we built out there in ’76. I graduated from Alta High School in ’86 and then served an LDS Church mission in Japan for two years. I don’t remember much of my Nihongo but the experience is one I will never forget and always cherish. I’ve been married since '96 and we've got 2 kids, Xander and Marquella, born Nov of 1999 and May of 2001. I have two more wonderful boys, Chris and Ben, that I don’t get to see much as they live in California with their mother. My interests include computers, airplanes, reading - particularly science fiction, and role-playing and war gaming. I started with D&D in ’80 and have since played and designed so many games I couldn’t begin to name them all. My particular favorites are AD&D, Traveller, Starfire, Battletech and my own chapter universes. Well, I’ll let that stand as my intro for now. I hope you enjoy these pages and remember to thank my wife because she helped. My politics. (Feel free to write me in as a choice for president in 2004) This page last modified 10/06/03 |
