    • Do something that makes you need to breath more rapidly
      • Begin taking larger breaths before you feel the need for them

  • Get something done
    • Something you've been meaning to do; just get up (now) and get it out of the way (or at least get it started)

  • Be around other people
    • Don't have to interact

  • Interact with a variety of people
    • Without imposing too much interaction (at first)

  • Worrying about something you cannot change is wasted energy

  • Writing things down can help clear your thoughts
