Hmmmm, where to begin... This is Steve. This is my favorite pic of him... Unfortunately, it's looking a little washed and mis-cropped. I'll fix it soon.
It's been a long (frequently un-traveled) road for the two of us. I've known him all my life, but we really didn't start getting along and hanging out 'till I got home from cooking school. (that leaves about 18 years of fighting, bitching, quarreling, brawling, pranks, thievery, tattling, blackmail, extortion, one-up-manship, etc... aka: "Brotherly love") BUT! Since I've been home from cooking school, we've gotten a lot closer. We finally grew up enough to realise that we have a lot of the same interests and hobbies and ways to spend free time... not to mention personal philosophies, beliefs, ideas and ideals, taste in music and morals. It's really scary and kinda cool, but I do believe that Steve is about as close as it gets to a clone.
Let's see, what kind of interesting info is there? We share interests in a lot of the same bands and music, based loosely around Ska/Punk and House music. That's definetly a good place to start as far as I'm concerened. Off the top of my head some of his favorite bands are: Less Than Jake, Fenix Tx, Coal Chamber, MxPx, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Lil' Ronnie, Pink Floyd, ..and several more that I can't think of right now.
Currently, he's a senior at Central High School. After high school he's going into the Marines. I think he's an idiot for doing it, but at the same time I think it'll be the best thing that ever happened to him. Honestly, I'm scared that he wont have the same personality when he gets out. I've worked for along time to help get his personality to where it is today, and the government is gonna annihilate all the work I've done. Leave it to the government to screw up progress. He says he wont lose his personality quirks, but I don't think he truly realizes what he's in for.
So, here he is. All tough and hardened and a MARINE! Geez, talk about a change in a person. Anyways, here are the pix suitable for the page.
LCpl Steve was deployed to parts unknown in the Middle East as of 1/11/03. he is aboard the USS Bataan, a smaller aircraft carrier (primarily for helicopters, harriers and ground troops). Lcpl. Steve will be staying on baord the ship performing his duties as a Harrier repair technician.
I wish him the best of luck and miss him immensely. I'll see him again soon, I know.
