Alien 5
Alien Resurrection has come and left and everyone asks themselves - what's next? What to expect?
The (new?) Alien: H. R. Giger has said in an interview that he would love to work on another alien move (that is - if he is to be included in THIS movie's credits)...
The Plot: Some have indicated that the plot was to be acted entirely on Earth. -Hopefully not a "Let's save the world, folks!" kind of plot! -It is just too... corny! If you cut it down to the bone: What kind of sci-fi/horror move has the intention of saving, the good, christian people of (mainly) America???? answer: NONE!!! (do you hear me, you over there at 20th century fox???)
Sigourney Weaver/ Winona Ryder has both said that it would be all right to star in another alien movie. Ok, this might be a horrifying thought for some of you, but seriously: Ripley is getting old. Everyone knows that she'll live, and even when she kills herself, she just pops up again! By the way, Ripley should have rested in peace!!! - No more resurrections, folks @ 20 century fox...please???
The END??? These later sequels have become bad, bad, Bad!. I hope and pray to the great movie god that please, please, please, hear this woman's prayer: either you make an incredible apocaplypic movie with no, absolutely NO survivor(s) and the end of the Alien saga, or you make a good, better, best new alien movie and keep the saga going!
But it is definitly the end for 'Alien Resurrection' writer Joss Wheadon. 20th have said that his kind of movie writing is not what they really want. Wheadon has told (more or less polite sources) that there were absolutely no chance of another alien movie. He said that 20th has said that 'Alien Resurrection' was a good movie, but they don't want just 'good' movies. But if he is out of the picture, his opinions really don't make any difference!
Would it ever be? I've heard rumors that 20th woun't make more Alien movies. Why, I don't know. I've also heard that a number 5 is to come next year, perhaps in the glorius new millennia...20th is keeping everything secret....
December 1999: Nothing has been heard about an 'Alien 5'. The only thing sure is that no such movie is released and is not planned released for quite a while.

July 2000: The word is that an "alien 5" plot has been scrapped, but the rumor of an "alien vs. predator" movie has demanded it's place amongst all other rumors. And we're back to square 1: noone can say if it's just another crazy rumor or actually happening
January 2002 Well, well, well... there´s a one minute ++ teezer on www.ifilm.com... the plot seems to be alien vs predator and it´s animated like "final fantasy". Due to computer problems I haven´t been able to see it myself. But I´ll keep my eyes open for developments!
Later - 2002 well, the teezer is NOT a movie company production, but one guy that has made a fan fic movie - or, to be 100% correct, it is not finished yet. On his homepage he estimated that it would be finished this summer. I´ve tried to access his homepage today (march 9) but i got an access denied. January 11. 2004 The rumors concerning the possibility for an "Alien 5" have grown pretty strong over the last year. One site have heard a rumor that Sigorney Weaver might team up with Stellan Skarsgård and Arnold Swartzenegger to kick some alien butt with James Cameron holding the reins. Now, we all know that due to the resent change of career, Arnie would not be in another movie for quite a while. And mrs Weaver have supposedly demanded that Ripley would be killed off once and for all. Another possible director is Ridley Scott. Possible release date: later this year.
April 4. 2004 The new alien movie is named Aliens vs Predator and the plotline is in short at humans meet predators who meets aliens in a bloody fight in antarctica. Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, Event Horizon) is directing. In the lead characters we find Sanaa Lathan as Alexa "Lex" Woods, Raoul Bova as Sebastian Wells and Lance Henriksen is back once more as Charles Bishop Weyland! New site will be up in no time.
