  • He actually knows how to play a Digeridoo - the aboriginal musical thingy you know
  • He has also appeared in the music video "Stranger in Town" by Toto.
  • Played music with 'the Deviants'.

Dourif has done many strange characters, with one thing in common: they are all tortured souls, either unhappy or purely psychotic. His trade mark - the wild eyes comes in handy (just look at the picture below!). He has done many movies and has appeared in series as well. His apperance in 'the X-files' episode 'Beyond the Sea' is what first comes to mind.
In this episode Doruif plays the psycotic (whoa! surprise!) serial killer Luther Lee Boggs with psycic powers who contacts Mulder to help him stop a killer on the loose.
Dourif has also acted in the 'Babylon 5' series. The episode was named 'Passing through Gethsemane' and his character's name was Brother Edward.
He has also acted in Star Trek: Voyager in the episodes 'Meld', 'Basics 1' and 'Basics 2'.
He has acted in 'Dune' - directed by David Lynch. This project might have been the start of his fall from the stars.
He has acted in 'Millennium', in the episode 'Force Majeure'
He has acted in 'Wild Palms'
The movies he has been in is first and foremost 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest' which was the first movie Dourif was in. This movie became a great success and Dourif was even nominated for the Academy Awards, he won the British Academy and won the Golden Globe for best supporting actor!
Another movie is 'The Eyes of Laura Mars' which he acted in alongside now well-known actors like Faye Runaway and Tommy Lee Jones.
And last: he has also acted in 'Wise Blood', and the director of this movie was John Huston
