Drake has the same background as Vasques. He was recruited from juvenile prison and has to stay in the corp for the rest of his life. He is a tough guy and acts tough but he has a soft spot for rebellious Vasquez. Partly because they have the same background and therefore also understands eachother on a deep level, but I guess he loves her and has deep bonds to her.After the failed raid against the alien hive the marines fall back to their vehicle. Drake is caught by the aliens just when he is going onboard the vehicle and killed.
