Kane is the second in command on board the 'Nostromo' after Cpt. Dallas. He is quiet (unlike the bossy 3. in command Ripley) and don't make much out of himself. Kane is the xenomorph's first victim. Under a search, he stumbles over thousands of eggs, activating one of them. He gets impregnated by a face hugger, and later a chest burster is born. One place in the movie Ash states either 'Gained some' or 'Kane's son' about the adult xenomorph's first kill, Brett, when they investigate his disappearance.
