Vreiss is the paralyzed chief mechanic on board the 'Betty'. He keeps to himself, being quite a loner. He has a crush on Call, even though he don't say it. Most of the time he wheels around in his mechanic wheel-chair repairing stuff, not letting the fact that he is paralyzed stop him. Johner has much fun by harassing Vreiss, even though Johner really don't have anything against Vreiss. Vreiss don't dislike anyone and ain't much disliked either. Vreiss and Christie seems to be long time buddies and Christie must have acted as Vreiss' tool of locomotion in other threatening situations when Vreiss had to ditch his wheel-chair. When Christie commits suicide, Vreiss grieves, but soon has to concentrate on staying alive. With Christie gone and no wheel-chair, Purvis and Johner (or DiStephano) has to take on the role of feet for Vreiss.Resurrection | Characters || Dominique Pinion | Actors
