Dr. Wren is the top scientists on board the 'Auriga'. Together with Dr. Gediman he takes care of most when it comes to the aliens.But Wren is a cold mofo. Even when he has guns pointed at his head, he stays cold and in control of himself. He sticks to the crew of the 'Betty' until he don't need their protection anymore. He shoots Call and escapes through the lift the whole group fought hard to reach. The crew takes their revenge.
When Wren tries to get to the 'Betty', Call (who did quite a spectacular resurrection) had hacked into the 'Auriga' and closes the doors which leads to the 'Betty'. Wren doesn't give up that easily. When the crew is well on board, Wren breaks in, grabbs Call and tries to control the situation. When Purvis tries to make a move towards Wren, Wren shoots him in the sholder. Just then the alien embyro inside of Purvis decides to be born. Purvis has great pain, but attacks Wren, who shoots him several times, without having success of stopping him. Purvis grabs Wren and thrashes him around the 'Betty', banging his head in the floor and beating him. And then Purvis pulls Wren close to his chest, just as the burster breaks through, bursting Wren's scull as well as Purvis' chest.
