Graduation Poem
I have, what I've wanted... for a long time.
I am no longer a child.
I have finished the last step towards the beginning of my adult
life.
And so do I go forth without true plan or purpose, merely knowing
that I will continue to learn and seek education.
With all my frailties and short comings,
strengths and talents,
the future is yet unwritten.
Hope burns bright in my soul along side a great sadness for the
death of me,
and the birth of who I am to be.
The brilliant shine of stars to light my path as I go gently
walking thru the forest of twilight,
reminds me of innocence lost,
and that which is eternal and will never be broken.
Barefoot as children in the night.
