Subject: Head-Spinning Shtuff

What??? It's half an hour after the season premere ends and you still haven't E-mailed me?? *grins* I'm just poring out whatever thoughts I have in my head, so please bear with this letter. I'm so exited that I, who can type in my sleep, can't even type my own name without adding a couple of g's and w's. I was mad when I logged on, as the FOX 10 o'clock news was for half an hour advertizing an interview w/ Gillian Anderson at the cast party of the X-Files that turned out to be a ten second soundbite with a ten second voice over clip. :~P Well, that episode sure was head-spinning! I've been into X-Files all day, talking to friends about it, watching my tape of Gethesmane, watching the Springfield Files (again), puttering around X-Files websites, so I'll stay off X-Files shtuff for a day or two or three. One problem- I have THREE eps backed up on tape I have to watch!! And then there's fx- I've been kinda loose about labling my tapes, so I've taped over all the best episodes, it seems. :~( But the premere, which I can't seem to get around to, was so head spinning!! Conspiracy upon lies upon betrayals upon plot twists, X-Files at almost it's best! But there weren't any funny bits. Then again, the mood was such as it wouldn't fit. Ah well. You know, I saw that scene... "Mulder died late last night of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head" three times today, and every single time I had a completely different perspective on it. The first time, it was Gethesmane, and I was so SURE Scully wasn't in on it, and that she really was touched, and that she was really trying to cover up her pain by explaining everything in FACTS. The second time I was just confused, because you know, in the beginny-bit, in which Mulder charged upstairs and the shot was fired, I was beginning to doubt if he had been shot or what... my List of Reasons Why Mulder Isn't Dead kept me sane through the theme song and the first commercial break. Then stuff began piling up... Scully WAS in on it... then the proof... at the end, I saw it as the acting it was, almost hopeless, as what which Skinner had, but necessary, and to be covered up in the greater conspiracy and then Scully's illness. Too bad, though, I had been hoping Mulder could remain dead in Skinner's eyes for at least a few more episodes! :~( Ah well. I'm questioning which side Skinner is on, or if he is on a side anymore, or if he ever was, or was he for or against Mulder all along and has this changed? Um, I'm sure I've left somethingorother out. Deionized water? I should be making a list of reasons why Scully isn't dead sometime soon...

Wow, what a post!! Write Back Soon!!!! In fact, forget the soon, write back NOW!

All Lies Lead To The Truth.

Have you noticed how, while formerly the phrases at the begining (The Truth is Out There) were formerly Mulder's, the government's, or neutral, they are more and more becoming Scully's (Believe the Lie, All Lies Lead To The Truth) ??? The Desk For Dana Fund gives a silent cheer in the background!!!!

Bye!
