Sorry I'm so late, but I wanted to get my mind off the X-Files so I could get my heart-rate down enough so I could SLEEP! But THAT WAS SO GOOD!!!!! Redux II is official my favorite ep now. Anything minor that Redux I was lacking was COMPLETELY made up for. New Shtuff was going on all the time, and I spent the entire show on the edge of my seat! (Actually, I was sitting on the floor so I could be closer to the screen, but, well, yeah.) The emotion was powerful! I'm taking a count of how many times we see Mulder sobbing... I've counted five: One Breath, Demons, Gethesmane, Redux I, and Redux II. So this has been a pretty powerful three-parter. The part where Samantha reveales CSM as her father was so important... as you may know, X-Philes over the nation have been debating whether CC would do the Lucas thing and make CSM Samantha's, Fox's, or both's, or neither's, father, and even though this REALLY didn't solve anything, I'm sitting on the floor as the commercials are on and thinking, "X-Philes all over the nation are having spasms at this moment." Then I went and leaped around the house like a maniac as my dad and sister's tried to figure out this vital plot element and my mom threatened to begin vacuming the house. My tape ran out of room in the last quarter, and I would have died a sudden death had I not had another on hand, meant for tonite's ep on fX, but, well, that's not as important. Yet this ep was not without humor. "Please tell me you're here with severe chest pains." I laughed so loud! And the ending was so climactic... turning everything on it's head... Scully's renewed faith... Mulder's accusation... Scully crying... the shot on CSM... the shot on the other guy, paralleling Anasazi so much I don't know WHAT I would have done had I not seen THAT trilogy. I was crying so hard, tears literally streaming down my face, up to the point where Mulder got the picture. Then I started laughing, I was so happy at how everything turned out. Remember, CSM is not necessarily dead, as the X-Files has a notorious reputation for bringing back the dead and no body was found. It was really fiting for both episodes to have the same name. And everything is awesome, Scully has a whole new element in her life, and NEXT WEEKS EPISODE, I think, is the Unlikely Suspects, in which the Lone Gunman play a major role! This looks so cool! I can't wait! CC is a GENIUS!! I LOVE BEING AN X-PHILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
