of the Guardian's early history.

istory of the Fourth Generation
  • July 8, 2001 - A stable is added to the hall, housing our herd of pegasi.
  • March 19, 2001 - The new WHO name has been changed to CrGdn, the old WHO name (Guard) has been retired.
  • March 13, 2001 - The clan is renamed Crimson Guardians, our historical name. (This is necessary in order to combat a name recognition error in the game which confuses Guard/Guardian.) All notes must now be written to CRIMSON and not GUARD in order to be received.
  • March 12, 2001 - The clan has been wiped and renewed. Applications will now be accepted for those interested in applying. Elminster and Ventor returned as leader, while Taryn and Zane were appointed to the positions left by the departures of Tawny and Corean (whom we shall all miss).
istory of the Third Generation
  • March 11, 2001 - The current membership (according to clan list) numbers the Guardians at 88. According to our own records, there are currently less than 20 Guardians which play on a regular basis. A clan wipe has been requested to correct our clan numbers and renew.

  • January 26, 2001 - Hemelia Virus hits Westbridge: A shrouded servant of Ragnorak steals into the city and infects the populous. The plague eventually spreads throughout the world (and into our hall). No cure yet has been found.
  • January 2, 2001 - WBA WATERSTOCK 2000 SLAUGHTERAMA Results in the elimination of several clans: Magitek, Legion, Elven Alliance, X-Cops, and Deil. The balance of power in the realms enters immediate flux as the remaining clans scramble to fill the void left by the loss of these great clans.
  • The clan hall loses some portals due to new hall restrictions.
  • October 18, 2000 - The Guardian Help file gets revamped.
  • October 7, 2000 - The Crimson Guardians of Waterdeep Web Site if opened.
  • The Council of Nine is reinstituted by the family to assist the leadership in governing clan issues.

istory of the Third Generation (continued)
  • The clan hall is enlarged to provide a wing of personal rooms for members, a new equipment shop, a coffee shop, a new healer, healing pool, permenant spring, and much more.
  • The Lord of Nightmares steals into the sanctity of our hall and converts some former Guardians to his eternal worship, thus heightening the tension betwixt the CoN and the Guardians throughout the realms.

istory of the Second Generation
  • The Guardians as we know it, formed about September-October of 97. Not many members of the original clan rejoined, only about 1 out of 10. The original sum was about 20 members. Our clan has grown since then, and has shunk as well. Beltaine headed the second generation, and the second leader that was elected was Eclipse. Our immortal sponsor at the time was Savvy. At this time the clan's ideals and principles were rather lax, but most of the members were helpful and courteous to others on the mud. At this time we gained a healer, a healing pool that mysteriously changed to a stone table of healing. Beltaine wrote the descriptions for the clan hall and mobs and donated half of the money for the heal, while Eclipse gathered the rest and covered the rest of the Guardians' expenses. Savvy's mortal character also donated about 900 platinum to the cause. Many others contributed as well… including people out of the clan. (WE THANK YOU ALL). The second generation's purpose was to build the clan. Because there was such a want to join our clan our member limit was always quick to be meet, and as a cause of that we have driven the max limit higher and higher. Recently after the New Year Savvy left our kin out of sadness, but that is another saga in itself… Celestia then took Savvy's place once becoming an immortal, for she originally was a Guardian of the second generation. At that point the more outspoken members of the clan decided there was too much dead weight in the clan, and decided to wipe out the clan and begin anew. Some of the people involved in the reformation were Beltaine, Celestia, Ishamael, and Valen. Stricter requirements were issued for the next generation, and thus we decided to create a Legion of Honor and enlightenment of a higher degree.
istory of the First Generation
  • Of the true origins of the Guardians, not many are really sure of how they came about. If it was simply a clan of non-pker hiding from player killers, not many are sure. Most believe they had the same ideas of honor and enlightenment as the current clan. Let us refer to the former clan as the lost Guardians, because most do not really have a history for them.
