Pokemon World
In 1997 I read in Electronic Gaming Monthly of a thing called Pokemon. It was just starting to become popular in Japan, and the concept sounded cool. Little did I know that it would turn into the cultural phemonenom it is today. I was hooked the first time I played the videogame, and have since amassed a small collection of Pokemon-related paraphanelia, and it's constantly growing. Even though I have some of the toys and such, Pokemon started in the videogame world, and I feel that's where it deserves attention. I know as well as the next schmo that all these little kids tell their mommys and daddys that they want "Pokemon Stuff!," and their parents shell out the dough for it. Then 5 minutes later it's broke and the kid doesn't care. They just bitch to their parents for something else. Then I go to the store to get something and they're sold out! THAT is what pisses me off. Now that I'm calm again, I'd like to share with you the best that Pokemon has to offer. This page is for the movie and the VIDEOGAMES, but I will accept toy and card-related info on a discretionary basis. Once again, I WILL NOT accept Pikachu pictures unless it features him being mutilated, tormented, shot, stabbed, stretched, or destroyed in some way. Just so I make myself clear. My favorite Pokemon Team
I accomplished this team through rigorous trading with a few people at school, buying all the Calcium, Carbs, Iron, Protein and everything else in Celadon, and playing the game through several times. A friend at school has TWO Mewtwo's on his team thanks to this. Anyway, here they are in the order I have them on my game.
