There is something about that look in you eyes Ya know the one Im talking about The one that makes me go weak in the knees whenever you enter into the room It makes me shy away from your random glances so that you don't see that Im Looking I can tell that from the way that you randomly look around the room you are in Search of something I don't know if I can offer that to you but I sure enough would like to try There is something enticing about that look in your eyes
There goes that look in your eyes again This time I see a strong black woman who takes no shit and gives it out just as equally As it is passed out I love my strong black woman and how they can make a thunderstorm look like a Sprinkle Their strength, will and drive attracts me to them the most There is something attractive about that look in your eyes
As I see you randomly looking around the room I catch a brief glimpse of your eyes Again In your eyes I see the pain of 400 years and the pride and struggle of countless Does anyone truly appreciate the black woman for whom they truly are Can one man stand up and be there for his black woman Our black women have been there for us but where were we for them I see this look in your eyes for only one moment then it passes There is something strong about that look in your eyes
Now as I see you talking to your girls I see your eyes again In your eyes this time I see a friend for life A woman who will be there for her friends and will expect the same from them I see that you find it hard to be someone's friend when they are creeping with your Man I see a black woman who wants to have a family one day and teach her girls how a lady Should act Will no one truly respect the black woman Will the black woman respect her sistahs There is something respectable about that look in your eyes
As you get up to leave the room I see your eyes again This time I see that you shall be a strong and successful black woman You shall have a family that respects you And a man that adores you In your eyes I see that you will follow the will of God And he will be there with you always Trust in God and the rest will follow There is something black in that look in your eyes
