Well, this was an okay episode. Scully kicked ass, which was the high point, although this episode made too much use of 'For the boys' shots, which got very irritating. As a girl with a younger brother addicted to pointless video game slaughter, this episode actually had an interesting premise.
Something just never clicked about this episode. I guess it was that it was a little disconnected. Good to see the Lone Gunmen, but they weren't as cool this episode. Pheobe's little creation was a pretty weird idea for a girl to make. Why would a girl make a female hero be a stripper? Doesn't make much sense. Very gruesome with the beheading. Mulder was funny and Scully kicked ass, but mostly it was disconnected. The most irritating part was they vanquished the game and never explained why a computer character using computer animated weapons was able to kill people or jump programs. And Scully's head on the Goddess? Scary! Anyway, not a terrific episode.
