Well, I liked it! It was very strange, and the whole thing my friends were on about "Cancerman likes Scully" was just unnecessary. I think he looks on her as the daughter he never had. And the dress? To keep her from wearing the mic.
I wonder if Mulder will continue to be hurt by what he perceived as Scully's lack of trust? This could be interesting. Is Cancerman really dying, or was that just a ploy to get Scully's sympathy? And if he is dying, would that be because his DNA and Mulder's aren't compatible and he really isn't Mulder's father? And if that's true, is Mulder dying (again)?
So, why did Cancerman toss the data? Wouldn't he want its help? That didn't make a lot of sense. And the whole "cure to all diseases" thing just doesn't work. It's a science principle. Equilibrium. You can't have more coming than going. It will unbalance the system. If more people are born than die, we have the situation of overpopulation, which leads to famine, crowding, and more pollution. It isn't plausible.
Otherwise, I liked it! It seems I like the ones that raise the most questions. And Gillian did a great job.
