Words to live by: If there are snakes, RUN!!!! Eeeww, I hate snakes, they freak me out. This was another plot with twists. The opening was freaky, all right. Then the pix of his snake bitten body? Oh, really pleasant. What is it the X-Files has with grossing us out this season? We have snakes, zombies, dead, rotting bodies galor, and a host of other gruesome things. Then the Reverend, who seems so nice, ends up being a freaking snake!!! Augh! Now Gracie seemed just a little too complacent through the whole episode. Scully seemed a little bit spacey again. I mean, COME ON! The girl wanders off on a compound known to have poisonous snakes and freaky people and then walks into a trailer FULL OF SNAKES and then when she realizes she JUST STANDS THERE!! Yay, let's just get attacked by a pack of poisonous snakes! Mulder had to come and rescue her. What was up with that? I think we need Scully to save Mulder more often.
Okay, the whole giving birth to a pack of snakes thing was absolutely disgusting, then O'Conner's body oozing fluid? Yucky!! They are out to gross us out. So, The Reverand Snake gets away to live happily ever after eating mice in Mass. never being found out and Gracie and Rev. O'Conner live. Weird episode, and, again, Scully and Mulder's involvement seems too distant. It is beginning to iritate me.
