Meanwhile, counseler Topolsky holds career guidance sessions with the students; and Max meets a curator obsessed with aliens.

Meanwhile, Micheal finds that an art class is bringing him closer to unraveling the mystery of his reoccuring vision of a mysterious dome that he suspects holds the secrets to the forth alien.

Synopsis: Convinced he has descovered the location of the mysterious building from a reoccuring vision, Micheal abducts Maria's car -- with Maria as his unwilling passenger -- and takes off on a wild road trip with Liz, Max, Isabel and Kyle in hot pursuit. At the same time, the group tries to complete a class research assignment, which awkwardly pairs Liz with Isabel, Maria with Micheal, and Max with Kyle, leading to surprising personal revelations.

Episode Title: "River Dog"

Synopsis: Before Max and Isabel can study the papers they found at the geodesic dome, their house is broken into and all the material disappears, except for a mysterious necklace that bears a symbol familiar to all three aliens. To unravel the secret of the symbol, Liz and Max make a journey to the Mescalero Indian Reservation where the elderly River Dog tells them everything he knows about the alien who vanished in 1959. Meanwhile, Maria and Micheal continues thier awkward flirtation while Sheriff Valenti begins to make the connection between the missing author James Atherton and the unidentified body with the alien handprint.

Synopsis: Max is injured in a car accident and taken to a hospital, where a sample of his blood is drawn, forcing Liz and Micheal to find a way to replace the sample with a vial of Alex's blood. After Max is discharged, Micheal spies Topolsky's men rummaging through Max's hospital room. Meanwhile, Maria's cat-and-mouse game with Topolsky reveals the startling truth about the nature of her job and leads Alex to a bitter confrontation with Liz.

Synopsis: During a freak December heat wave, thoughts turn to romance as Micheal and Maria's relationship gets steamy, Isabel and alex share a hypnotic dream-dance while the rock band Save Ferris gives a live performance of their hit "Let Me In," and Max and Liz give in to their mutual attraction and share a first kiss. Later, when a rave party turns wild, Sheriff Valenti arrests Liz and Alex and Liz uses their time in jail to finally tell him the truth about the aliens.

Meanwhile, Maria steps in to save the day when Alex's band needs a new lead singer, while Micheal has convinced he has unlocked the secret of a mysterious map and enlists Isabel's help to send a signal to a possible fourth alien.

Max and Isabel's efforts to include Micheal in their family only make him feel more isolated, until unexpected help from Philip Evans allows Micheal to take his life in a new direction. Meanwhile, Sheriff Valenti's flirtation with Amy DeLuca heats up, much to the disgust of Maria and Liz.

Although Max is concerned about Liz's feelings, Micheal and Isabel urge him to use Liz and her visions to help solve the mystery of their past, leading to a mysterious glowing orb buried in the desert floor. Meanwhile, Micheal pairs off with Maria and Isabel with Alex in an effort to create some visions of their own.

Synopsis: Agent Topolsky reappears in Roswell, now terrified and desparate to warn the aliens that they are in great danger, but when Max and Liz refuse to trust her, she turns to Sheriff Valenti for helping the kids she previously tried to expose. Feeling that time is running out for then all, a panicked Topolsky agrees to give Micheal top-secret FBI evidence in return for his trust, but before they can meet, she is intercepted by her superiors and the evidence falls into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, Isabel is surprised to find that she has a lot in common with Tess Harding, a beautiful new girl in school, and Maria yearns for more romance in her relationship with Micheal.

When both Sheriff Valenti and the real Max follow Nasedo to rescue Liz, Max is finally captured by the FBI. Meanwhile, Tess tries to convince Max, Micheal and Isabel that they were destined to be togather to propagate their species.

Synopsis: Now in the custody of FBI Agent Peirce, Max's greatest fears become reality when he is held prisoner in a "white room" and subjected to interrogation and torture as Peirce tries to make him reveal his true identity. After Isabel "dreamwalks" into Max's mind and discovers where he is being held captive, she, Micheal, and Tess set out to rescue Max. Left behind to worry and wait, Liz, Maria and Alex finally decide to reveal  the truth to Sheriff Valenti and ask for help.

Synopsis: SEASON FINALE - After helping rescue Max from the FBI, Sheriff Valenti is stunned when he witnesses Micheal's powers and realizes that Micheal, Isabel and Tess' true alien identity. Max and Isabel finally use the orb-like communicators to recieve a message from their real mother about thier past lives and future destiny - a destiny which does not seem to include Liz, Maria or Alex, while unwittingly alerting hundreds of of other aliens of thier existance.
